How is there a big, big difference in whether he blew through the red light or rolled through it?

Blowing through a red light = not even tapping the brake.

Rolling through a light = you’ve made an attempt to stop, or at least slow down, but you have not come to a complete halt.

Huge difference.

Having once had to have surgery as a result of someone (apparently sober) blowing through a red light, T-boning Joe and totaling Joe’s truck, trust Joe, he would much rather someone roll through a stop light making a right turn and then hitting Joe.

I had a client once who had a glass eye. Had some fun at trial with the “glassy eyes” description from the cop, which occurs in every DUI case.

And of course the “strong odor of alcohol” on the breath, blah blah, blah.

How is there a big, big difference in whether he blew through the red light or rolled through it? The officer had cause to stop him and when he smelled the alcohol he had cause to give him a sobriety test. Not really sure where the red light comes into question. The man was drinking and driving, the red-light is secondary.

Actually, I looked it up.

“Chris Mosley, a 32-year-old assistant defensive line coach, was arrested at Swann and Moody avenues at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.”

So he went through a light at Armenia and got arrested at Swann and Moody.

Since Armenia ends at Swann and Moody is east of Armenia, he must have been driving east on Swann and went straight through the light at Armenia.
