I would trade down. The team has too many holes. We’re not going to get Suh unless we give up a bunch of picks we can’t afford to give up. McCoy is a solid DT for the #3 pick, but others can be had later in round 1 or 2. DT is a huge need, but I think WR is a bigger need, especially since it sounds like Antonio Bryant is gone and Michael Clayton will be released.

Trading up for Suh or McCoy only if they do well in the combine is a must! You have to understand that having a dominate DT in the Tampa Two will make the LB’s better ansd our Sec. better. OUr entire Def. benefitied because a certain #99 was a beast in the treanches.

I don’t think that he was refering to the 1st round. I think he’ll move up and down in rounds 2 thru 5.

Dominik was only stating that the team had “the ability to move up”. He is only trying to convince fans that money isn’t an issue(which is debateable, either way). I highly doubt the Bucs will move up in the draft because of all the positions that we are in need of, as has already been stated.

We can all say this for sure….Dominik and Raheem aren’t afraid of pulling the trigger on something if they have conviction in it.

1. Veteran purge
2. Trading up for Freeman
3. Trading of Gaines
4. Release of coordinators

Positive or negative outcome, they keep things interesting. Here’s a Caybrew in hopes of all positive outcomes this offseason.

My whole point is, it really won’t make much difference from a contract stance for the Bucs to move up. Also take into consideration the players we may dump. They can do it with little mess.
