It does not matter if anyone thinks he is a bust “in waiting” or a waste of a 1st rounder.

The pick is in and this team is “married” to him. Time to move on from what might have been or what many thought was the wrong pick.

Freeman will at some point be the starting QB on this team. The sooner we know what we have the better.

The only ? is when and according to many the timing must be right for success. But success is not always the best teacher.

Come on guys…give leftwich some credit…I thought he looked pretty damn good for his first game…hell our whole offense looked great minus winslow dropping that wide open catch on 4th down….we had 450 yds total offense…how many times did that happen with gruden and his senior citzen qb’s? If our d fense and special teams can get the heads out of there asses I think we got a pretty good shot at being a wild card team(maybe not this year because of schedule) but any other year…I def think we are a better team than the cowgirls..if it wasn’t for a few big plays our d let by we would have won that game…GO BUCS!!!

BTW Joe, how is this news…Maybe to the national media, but Raheem said weeks ago that Freeman will mosdef not be playing this year unless an extreme situation happened…He is the #2 for practice rep purposes ONLY…Josh Johnson is supposed to be, in Raheem’s words our, the “career backup” he wants him here for the next decade from what I understood…

Joe, I think you may be right about Freeman. You called him Bust in Waiting, and I agree with you. Yea sure, you can’t predict the future, but you can follow your instincts or gut feelings. I think Freeman was a waste of a 1′st round pick when the Bucs could have drafted an immediate impact player. I would like to see Freeman’s Wonderlic Scores. Remember Vince Young’s scores. Look how Vince has turned out. You have to think quickly and correctly to play QB in the NFL. Bust, bust, bust.

This is all so odd. Why fire King Jon and then go super cheap? I think he is still making more than the entire new staff combined…………..somehow this feels like Ray Perkins all over again…….
