Kwon celebrates his sack/strip of Nick Foles

You haven’t seen what you saw today since November of 2016, and it sure felt damn good.

Joe’s talking about a sack by Kwon Alexander.

It was a real tone-setter for the defense on the Eagles’ third drive of the game. They were moving the ball and in came Kwon on a blitz on 2nd-and-2 at Philly’s 46 yard line. He got there and out came the ball, pounced on by rookie cornerback Carlton Davis.

Kwon is the heart and soul of the Bucs defense and the pressure of Foles picked up from there through the game against an excellent offensive line.

Kwon was more consistent today than during his up-and-down day in New Orleans, and he finished with six solo tackles and three tackles for loss.

The Bucs needed a game like this from Kwon and they got it.

Joe hopes Mike Smith has now found the secret sauce to his blitz game. M.J. Stewart and others brought their share of pressure that way.

Cant wait to see Deion’s face. He was talking so much crap about fitz and the Bucs.

Thoroughly impressed by the defense today. I thought they would have to win a shootout today due to all the injuries in the secondary but the Dline was able to get pressure and tackling was very good.

    Well done Mike Smith

Kwon had an absolute bone jarring sack , Nick Foles was thoroughly hassled most of this game–fun fun fun to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW our O-Line was magnificent with no penalties and plenty of time for some F-magic against the #1 defense. Our defense was very good today–the rooks made some plays and the d-line played tough!!!!!!!!!!!! LB’s good too!

    Sure did not miss Spawn57.

You gotta tip the hat to the Glazers for not blowing the team up after last year.

Kwon and defense played well, especially run defense- Whitehead needs to start.
DJax was a shining star as well- Eagles couldn’t cover him

Completely agree deion’s mouth I’m not sure how it fits on his face but he’ll easily act like he never said what he said last week. I hate his show but I just want to see if he’ll give credit where credit is due

Could it be? Could it be? That winning is contagious and everyone starts lifting their game up?

Brate has been completely phased out….Howard will need his money in a few years

  19. Buchead5588 Says:

Brate will be back when Jameis comes back that’s his best friend ya they just don’t run as many 2 TE sets more 3 wide an did you see what OJ did 75 yrd TD catch

  20. Rod Munch Says:

David should be used as a blitzer, he’s already proven he’s the best edge rusher on the team.

Then again with all the injures in the defensive backfield, they should be teaching David how to play safety this week since he’s one of the best cover guys on the team.

Not kidding on that either, David should be taking snaps as a safety in practice because I don’t know who else is left in the pipeline.

Where are all the armchair gms saying not to resign kwon or he sucks etc.? Im looking for them and all the trade djax crowd. Oh im also looking for those who were still crying for dalvin cook and bashed the OJ selection. I could go on but you get my drift.
