Of course, I suggest this while also suspecting Joe is hungover in a hotel right now, lol.
First, Joe is always working. Second, the autoplay may be happening on FireFox browsers only, but that’s a tiny percentage of folks. Joe is working on eliminating the issues. Try Chrome today. –Joe

  2. Pickgrin Says:

The running commentary with words at the bottom of the screen is an ‘interesting’ choice…

Joe – I believe the “autoplay” issue is related to browsers.

    Not getting autoplay using Chrome.

Am consistently getting the autoplay on these videos using Firefox.

    Hope that info helps.

  4. BROCKTACULAR Says:

Using Chrome but can’t get full screen…Any suggestions?

  5. Pickgrin Says:

Same here Brock – Full screen feature doesn’t work

  6. Doctor Stroud Says:

You can disable autoplay on Mozilla by typing in “about:config” (without quotation marks) and then hit “Enter/Return”. Then find “media.autoplay.enabled” app on the (rather long) list and click on it once. That will disable the autoplay feature.

“Same here Brock – Full screen feature doesn’t work”

Working fine on Safari. I assume, from the lack of negative comments, that it’s also working on Internet Explorer, from the ‘Evil Empire’…LOL. Looking at this, I find it amazing that they can get it working on so many different browsers. Kudos to your tech guru, Joes.

  8. unbelievable Says:

It’s because ID uses a custom player, versus hosting them with youtube or vimeo, which have their own video embeds that work in all browsers the same.

  9. Trench War Says:

I have no controls over the player at all. I can’t expand to full screen and I can’t change the player from auto. It could possibly be the player app that Joe is using.

  10. Trench War Says:

Besides player problems, what a fantastic show, very informative from to TB icons.

  11. Trench War Says:

    correction: two Tampa Bay icons

  12. DanBucsFan Says:

If Licht is ever fired, and I for one am of the opinion that Licht is doing fine job. Please hire Mr. Brooks as our new Gm. He’ll, hire him to work with Light. Go Bucs !!

  13. cmurda Says:

Guys, not for nothing but full screen isn’t a big deal. It’s not like Derrick and Ira are doing jumping jacks. Well, at least we know Ira isn’t. Just kidding Kaufman. I thought this was an excellent video. Brooks and Ira work well together. Good point by 55 too. Mixing up our looks on defense and having Kamara second guessing himself would be critical. I just don’t see it. I don’t have confidence that our D Coord will mix it up too much. It’s not his forte and it’s part of my beef with him. We have fast, but under-sized LB’s. Lavonte’s strength is his speed and ability to get to QB on blitzes however, I rarely see it dialed up. This defense needs to have some disguise to it. There’s nothing more illogical then doing the same thing over and over again and failing.

  14. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Is it just me, or does Brooks always sound like he’s reading off a teleprompter? Maybe he’s nervous, but his voice always sound robotic if it’s not him being interviewed. I’ve noticed this on his commercials, too. Still great insight, though.

  15. unbelievable Says:

Great stuff from Brooks about disguising their looks.

  16. ElioT Says:

Who the heck put that cheap-a** set together?

Looks like a middle school morning news broadcast.

Love the content but good lord, that’s a set with a face for a podcast.

    Go Bucs!

  17. orlbucfan Says:

Very informative. DB55 pointed out that they need to disguise blitz packages. Say what?! Smith needs to design and call them. Brees is a HOF, but he’s long in the tooth . Smith now has the players on the DL and the LBs to do so. Plus, when is he going to spy on a few opposing players? Mike Smith drives me nuts. He calls plays like a dunce at times, and he’s not. Hope the O blossoms tomorrow. Tampa Bay has a kicker??? Finally! GO BUCS!!

  18. orlbucfan Says:

Mike Smith needs to not only disguise blitz packages, he needs to create them! Plus, assign ‘spy’ to his players. Even with a young secondary, he’s got players on the DL and the LBs. Speaking of LBs, who is starting with Kwon and LVD tomorrow? Go Bucs!!

  19. orlbucfan Says:

Oh well, both comments posted. Thought I lost one. 🙂

  20. ElioT Says:

Brooks has never been accused of being an articulate speaker.

The man is highly educated and probably one of the smartest players to ever put on a Bucs helmet, but public speaking is not his forte.

Still love to hear his opinions and takes on this team.

    Go Bucs!

  21. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I become very sick when Alvin Kamara’s name is mentioned. Tampa passed on him TWICE, and now look.
Same with Guice, who was running people over, till he got hurt.

How to stop autoplay in Firefox browser:
    https://www.consumerreports.org/internet/how-to-stop-videos-from-autoplaying/

I tried this and it fixed the issue. No more autoplay. The link leads to a page that explains it for other browsers as well, but here is what it says for Firefox:

Firefox: Mozilla’s recently revamped Firefox web browser offers a straightforward way to prevent unwanted videos from playing automatically as you hop from site to site. It’s straightforward, but not something you’d stumble across by searching through pull-down menus.

First, you’ll need to access the browser’s advanced options by typing “about:config” (without the quotation marks) in the address bar and hitting Return.

Next, search in the window for the “media.autoplay.enabled” setting and double-click it. This will disable most HTML5-based videos from playing on their own when you load a page.

  23. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Off topic, I just binge watched Hard Knocks to get a good look at Nassib. I can see why is was a fan favorite there. Very likeable.

Play-wise? I can’t believe they chose him over Orchard, but he’s got potential. He might even be better than Spence at this point.

Poor Brogan Roback never was in the running for a roster spot, but I liked the kid. His wife was cool too, in a supportive way.

Anyway, I hope they give Nassib a fair chance to develop.

  24. BigMacAttack Says:

Well done Gents. Mr Derrick Brooks looking sharp as usual. First Joe signs top free agent Ira Kaufman and now Derrick Brooks. Joe may have Salary Cap issues if he brings in another. But this is definitely an Allstar Team.
