Lmao. Looks like there’s gonna be some very upset fans this season.
10 wins lmao. Hahahaha yea ok.

  2. JimmyJack Says:

    Why not?

  3. JimBuc2 Says:

I’ll wager one tater tot on 10-6. Realistically, I’ll take the over on 8-8. 5 games better, sure, why not reach for the stars. Put me down for a wild card playoff spot.

  4. unbelievable Says:

Our floor is 7 wins, our ceiling is 11.

  5. gp Says:

Anyone who chooses anything other than “11 or more” needs to question their fandom
As it stands right now we are undefeated
If you assume a loss before you even enter the arena then you have already lost and shouldn’t even play
There is not a team in this league that we cannot defeat
    Any given Sunday! (or Monday)

  6. SchwiftyBuc Says:

7-9 is the only safe bet.

Imo the 2 biggest determining factors as of right now, are: Will Dirk Koetter take a great deal of pressure off of his shoulders, subdue his ego, and relinquish play-calling duties and make Monk the OC not just in name?

And Will Mike Smith overcome his strange, awful, self-destructive obsession with Quarters off-zone coverage concepts and adjust his scheme to fit his secondary’s abilities and strengths?

If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then we have a good shot at becoming a successful team in 2018. If its one or the other we’ll probably go 7-9. And if the answer to both is no then we’ll almost definitely go 4-12 or 5-11.

  7. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

10-6, been saying it for months.
I would rather be optimistic and excited and be let down (like every year) than to go in btchin and moaning about things that haven’t happened yet.
My biggest concern is and has been that Oline, even before they were banged up.
In the end Jameis has his best season and we go 10-6 with help from a top 12 defense.
    Go BUCS!!

  8. Dapostman Says:

I’ve been on the 10-6 train since the free agency signings and the draft.

    #Get After It!

  9. Miguel Grande Says:

Yesterday I had a vision, an epiphany.

    15-1.

Fitz goes 2-1 and Jameis undefeated.

    Super Bowl bound!

  10. Blue-footed booby Says:

5 wins or less of course. Just waiting to see when will America’s ATM machine have yet another on field meltdown like he’s had here in Tampa the last few years.

  11. unbelievable Says:

    “America’s ATM machine ”

which translates to “America’s America’s Turnover Machine Machine”

    Gotta love that #FloridaEducation

  12. theodore Says:

4-12 (one win is last game against a Falcons team resting all their starters). Coaches and GM fired. Jameis good enough to play out fifth year at $20MM but new coach and 2019 (not 2018) will decide his fate.

I just don’t see Mike Smith reversing this defense in one year, and he is going to take down everyone with him. Koetter was foolish to keep him. Licht’s defensive overall this year is one year too late to save him. 2016’s 5-game winning streak was a mirage that delayed the inevitable.

  13. NewTampaChris Says:

75% of the voters so far at 8-8 or above. Hope you are right but seriously doubt it.

  14. Defense Rules Says:

@Miguel … “Yesterday I had a vision, an epiphany. 15-1.” And sometimes epiphanies are really delusions.

  15. Blue-footed booby Says:

So unbelievable, looks like you have to resort to ad hominem attacks, which is frankly pathetic on your part. Still though, I can also refer to Winston as America’s Groper which would be more straightforward and to the point.

Oh, and I called him an ATM machine because he helps defenders with cashing in on big paydays with his dumb decisions on the field that he makes all alarmingly high frequency.

  16. unbelievable Says:

    @blue-footed booby,

Sure you can pretend that’s what you meant, but you’re still saying machine twice.

It is not an ATM machine, it’s just an ATM (hint: the “M” stands for machine)

    🤭

  17. Bucballbaby84 Says:

Dirk better hope they either get in the playoffs or get extremely close. Love the guy but this is longer than the glazers have ever given someone a chance to coach this team and not have the results they were promised.

  18. PSLBob Says:

I think we’re right on the cusp of playoff potential. If Fitz can win just one game of the first 3, Jameis only needs 9 wins to hit 10-6. Otherwise we go 9-7 and probably don’t make it.

  19. PSLBob Says:

Of course my forecasting is as accurate as all other posters. Total smoke and mirrors. How many of you predicted correctly, Vita Vea as our first round pick? Picks were based on what we hoped for, same as for win loss totals.

  20. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @Alaskan

“I would rather be optimistic and excited and be let down (like every year) than to go in btchin and moaning about things that haven’t happened yet.”

Amen Alaskan. I’ve been trying to explain this for years….some people are slow on the uptake.

If we have a losing season we all will be disappointed. There will be an entire off season for that disappointment…why already embrace it? If you start off believing we’re going to suck and we turn out to be good you will have wasted weeks or months of UNNECESSARY disappointment….unless…nah I’m giving everybody the benefit of the doubt as far as being fans.

Still here is a rude awakening for some…nobody here is getting graded much less paid for their football expertise. You are allowed to be a fan!!!!

  21. LakeLand Says:

    4-12 at best

  22. D-Rome Says:

    Eight wins is my prediction.

  23. orlbucfan Says:

9-7. Still puzzling over cutting Josh Robinson???

  24. Eric Says:

    I see five wins.

    Bears, Browns, Bengals, Giants, Skins

Might pick up one other win in division if lucky.

  25. Dan Says:

Seriously 9 or 10 wins. No one can really think this. The true definition of home team wishful thinking. We have a mess at qb a coach with little track record of winning and an aging defensive line. Mix that with questionable corners and average safety’s and it’s 6-10 all day. I would mention how poorly our new running back played in preseason but why pile on.

  26. Buc1987 Says:

    Blue-footed booby Says :

“he makes all alarmingly high frequency.”

    Buc1987 Says :

I know what you meant…..BUT you look illiterate.

Do I care?…NO cause you’re the same old fake troll that is to me…..WHY criticize Jameis out of the blue? For what ? Over a spat with another poster that had nothing to do with Jameis…

Stop changing your name…we don’t care!

    YOU’RE a CHILD!!!!

Oh 8-8 to 9-7. Go Bucs!

  27. Creamsicle Crush Says:

In a win now or else season, the bucs will go 11-5

  28. Pickgrin Says:

    9-7

With a lucky bounce or 2 this talented young team can definitely hit double digit wins! Winston is going to have a career year.

  29. stpetebucsfan Says:

Dang guys could you stop with the emotional responses and spew some actual facts?

“We have a mess at qb a coach with little track record of winning”

We have a #1 draft pick in the entire draft…a player who was playing his best ball the final 5 games of last year…whose suspension seems to have erased his last challenge…growing up. He looked mature this preseason and he played very well it’s hard to call that a mess!!!

But geez if you’re going to lob insults at DK could you at least be accurate or specific. He’s only in his third year in the NFL and so we’ll see but there is NOTHING in his past to indicate he’s a losing coach.

He took a nowhere program at Boise State and took it from a 6 win team to one that won 10 games each of his last two years and added two Bowl victories.

At ASU…not exactly a football powerhouse he also had a WINNING not a losing record and went to four bowl games in his six seasons there.

In the NFL he’s had two seasons…one winning and one losing.

And so from that someone observes he has “little track record” of winning. Well we are all entitled to our opinions but that is simply FACTUALLY incorrect.

    Google is your friend!

  30. EA Says:

I picked 7-9, I hope they prove me wrong for the better. Weird things happen in the NFL every year.

  31. Eric Says:

    Boise State and ASU?

    seriously?

  32. Eric Says:

Obviously time to bring in Bryan Harsin…..

  33. Tc Says:

Looks like 8 wins to me. Then winning a couple of close games could give them 1-2 more wins

  34. Danr Says:

    Wow.

  35. Kobe Faker Says:

    “4-12 with Klueless play caller,

    6-10 with Monken play caller”
