Brentson Buckner Video Part II

June 16th, 2018

Joe’s video of Brentson Buckner coaching up Buccaneers defensive linemen was a bit of a hit.

So here’s more video of Buckner all over the little things with his unit.

(Point of note. Joe shoots a lot of video, most of which isn’t seen here and is just used for Joe’s film study.)

Fun fact about Buckner, not only does he believe he could still contribute on an NFL field at age 46, Joe has talked to multiple players who believe Buckner absolutely could still make a play on Sundays. He has buy-in from his players from all angles.

Love these shots from practice…nobody posing…nobody aware of your candid camera. Great stuff!

Coach Buck is such a bad@$$ he wears a sweatshirt all summer long in the Florida heat.

Im officially cutting the sleeves off of my bucs sweatshirt.

I wanna believe that Buckner will change our fortunes on the D-Line, but I gotta see improvement on the field before I crown him a “savior.” Like his style of coaching, but I think we had that style in Schiano and we all know how that ended up working out. “Hoping for the best preparing for the worst” pretty much sums up my expectations.

I believe him, he looks pretty strong for 46, those arms still have some juice left, I wonder about the legs though. 🤔

So, is there any synergy? Is it better players + better coaching = better results? Or is there a multiplicative effect, a synergy where Better Players * Better Coaching = Waaaay Better Results?

    Good stuff Joe.

The man has a job to do – and he looks intent on doing it well…

Joe, thanks for craving our collective thirsts during this excruciatingly long football offseason. Would love to see more behind the scenes footage from training camp if at all possible. You said you have much more where this came from – don’t hold out on us! Keep up the good work over there guys. Appreciate all that you do for us fans.

What a refreshing change from Jay Hayes. Only thing I saw him doing during camp was pushing his glasses on his face after his guys hit the sled. Coach em up Buck. I remember hating him when he was in Carolina. Him, Kris Jenkins, and to a lesser degree Peppers would talk so much spit about Sapp and our dline. And they always seemed to get the better of us. Blocking the game time extra point was maddening. Glad to have him as a coach here!
