In three seasons at Pitt Aaron Donald had 63 TFL and 27.5 sacks.

    Ira,

Sorry about Phila losing that was a great game 5. I’m actually a Boston Celtics fan and no I’m not here to brag about the win. I want to talk about how Brad Stevens just takes his players to a whole other level. This man knows how to develop and to keep his team disciplined at all times. As a Bucs fan I never seen this and I’m concerned, hoping one day we can build a culture similar to theres. What do you think of his player development sage?

Not even 40 mins?? MORE IRA! LESS BOBBY!!

  4. Rod Munch Says:

    Let’s compare Vita Vea to Warren Sapp’s college numbers shall we… Vita… 15 TFL and 9.5 sacks…. Sapp, 12.5 TFL and 10.5 sacks…

So Vita compares equally to the great Warren Sapp who was also selected #12 by Tampa!

    Go Vita!

Oh wait… those are Vita Vea’s college totals compared to Sapp’s last year in college.

Hopefully Vita can step in a year or two and take the place of McCoy with no big loss in production, but I literally have no idea what that is based off of since his college production shows that he’s going to be a 2-down run stuffer in the NFL. Yes he had a nice 40 time for a guy his size, but he’s not McCoy or Sapp when it comes to quickness or speed, both of which made Sapp a 1st ballot HOFer and makes McCoy a year in year out pro-bowler. To me before we worry about Vita replacing McCoy he needs to prove he’s more than a 2-down 3-4 run stuffing NT.

  5. Crabberbill Says:

Vita is not a 3 tech, he’s a nose tackle. He is not going to replace McCoy. I can’t believe all the McCoy haters here. You people will miss him when he’s gone!! I liked James alot too but Vita was my pick for months now. I say put him in at running back on goal situations like inside the 5 yard line. No one will be able to tackle him and I’ll jump in Jason’s pool with him !! Great pick and great draft Jason !! Go BUCS !!
