Big Win/Lousy Performance, Sergachev & Other Standouts, A Look At Boston, And More; It’s The Todd Wright Lightning Playoff Podcast

April 23rd, 2018

Todd is pleased the Lightning moved on but blasts them for a lousy performance in Game Five. The Devils were done and didn’t want to make the trip to Tampa, but the Lightning let them hang around all afternoon. Games like that get you beat in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Lightning got away with one against probably the 16th best team of the 16 teams that made the postseason.

A few guys showed up to play for Tampa Bay, including Mikhail Sergachev, and Todd dives into those positives and much more.

Todd Wright isn’t just the fantasy football podcast guru and golf chief around here. The longtime national and local sports radio personality has loads of knowledge about the Tampa Bay Lightning. So launching the Todd Wright Lightning Playoff Podcast was a no-brainer.

The podcast will run through the Bolts’ exciting playoff run right here. Todd has media credentials for home games and will provide plenty of fresh insight.

(Also, the JoeBoltsFan podcast with Tom Lang has been a big hit every Friday.)

I shut off your podcast after you called out Lightning fans for booing Boyle. He is a member of the enemy now and no longer with our Bolts. Over 20,000 people thought like I do. Sorry I side with the fans instead of some media hack. I won’t be listening to anymore of your so called “podcasts” again.

Game 5 their worst?! You’re not going to give Schnieder or the Devils any credit? They played a hell of a game. Lightning defense and penalty kill won that game. It’s not 7 goals every game in the playoffs man. That was their BEST game of the series.

  3. DBS Says:

Sorry. Boyle started this fight when he said what he did. It was not just because he is a Devils player now.

  4. chipbuc Says:

Boyle got the booing treatment because he told a 19 year old that he was going to kill him. Watch the tape you could see him say it. Can’t give him a pass for that type of behavior.

DBS, what did Boyle say? I missed it.
