Kwon And Lavonte Back On The Practice Field

October 11th, 2017

Go time?

[UPDATED: 5:40 p.m.] Ahh, what a beautiful sight it was. Joe saw it with his own eyes during the 30-minute media time at practice today: Lavonte David (ankle) and Kwon Alexander (hamstring) were back in pads on the field.

It’s unknown exactly how much they participated. Oh, and T.J. Ward (hip) was out there, too.

Fingers crossed.

[UPDATED: 5:40 p.m.] Alexander, David and Ward each had limited participation in practice today per Wednesday’s injury report.

Good luck guys….hope the injuries heal and you’re back on it! Mean time, some players are pushing ya.

  2. Bucsfanman Says:

    Definitely good news!

  3. Fartman Says:

If they all play this weekend… Arizona is F*@!@#

  4. Broy34 Says:

Beckwith and Kwon roaming. Lavonte blitzing. Evans and ward starting safeties. It’s not that hard to figure out what the D needs to do. Lavonte best pass rusher. Fact. Evans is an athlete who played great

  5. GhostofSchiano Says:

    Agree with MadMax
ax…… miss another game or two and those guys might take their starting spots.

  6. Alstott up the gut Says:

This would be huge…. please keep us posted! Beckwith has made me anxious to see these 3 together on the field.

  9. Pryda...sec 147 Says:

I think we are building some good depth for this team we just have to make it to the playoffs I think Jameis and some other players will kick it into a new level within themselves and dominate

  10. Kstoges Says:

    Great news.

  11. Defense Rules Says:

Convinced we’ll see Smitty use a lot more 3-4 now that Lavonte & Kwon are back. About the only way I can figure to get Kwon & Beckwith on the field for the most plays. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Glanton get a lot more time too, and a 3-4 looks like about the only way you can do something like that.

  12. DB55 Says:

Excellent! And may I say good job to Glanton and bond.

    Joe,
Any comment on Gerald McCoy’s recent interview and comments about the national anthem protests? Probably best to ignore it, wouldn’t want to turn the local yokels against the BEST DT WHO EVER LIVED!!!

  13. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

    Can we run a 2-5-4?

  14. Patrickbucs Says:

Welcome back, our best unit on the team probably by a good margin.

  15. SB Says:

I gotta be the one to say that LB didn’t hurt us an Any game they were gone as far as I could see. LOVE that they are back but them being out didn’t cost us a game imo.

  16. libucfan Says:

Fingers crossed! Can’t wait to see what a full squad can do.

  17. Roy T. Buford Says:

Waited all day for this report. Phew. Feel better.

Easily you just type your question and hit submit. Or cuz I felt like it.

I thought it was valid question. Joe rarely ignores anything gmc, thought it was interesting that he made no mention of it today.

  24. Stanglassman Says:

What’s up with Marpet? Listed as limited (illness)

  25. SB Says:

    I can buy that Dave.

  26. Buc1987 Says:

  27. Clw JB Says:

Half staffed D holds Brady to 19…can’t wait to see the entire group healthy together

  28. Brandon Says:

This would be great news if one/any of them can line up at DE and rush the passer. It’s good news… but it doesn’t fix what is wrong with the D.
