JAMEIS IS NOT THE PLAY CALLER! 6-8 drops is a lot 😲as Belichek said what do you expect? The execution on that last play was right on point had OJ turned around and moved up. How many times was the ball thrown like a laser in the endzone and the reps called the play no good?

Jameis has been asked to not take needless chances, DO NOT TRY TO DO TOO MUCH…trust other receivers. He cannot win!🤤 And Djax and Jameis is starting to get acclimated…but Djax missed OTA’s as well. (from what I heard Brady and Cooks was having an adjustment period).

While JW was still a redshirt freshman HE STARTED with a lights out senior team! He did not have that caliber of players the next year, so Jimbo (playcaller) would make ADJUSTMENTS at half time and Jaboo would come out firing with all cylinders and execute, execute…elude and run!

RESULTs Summary no interceptions, threw some balls away, did not get Mike involved for some reason (Dirk, whiny fans, Djax), he is not the play caller, 7 POINTS not punched in by the KICKER after putting the play in the position.

DO THE FREAKIN MATH 7 KICKIN POINTS MISSED and 6-8 BALLS DROPPED and EXECUTING THE PLAYS being CALLED in his helmet!

Must win game coming up against Arizona. They are not..that good. Our Defense has got to rise up and pressure Palmer tremendously. Do this and we win. Our Offense will score. We..just gotta stop theirs.

  4. Bob Higginbotham Says:

The dynamic duo excelled once again! Steve and Ira are magic together!

Excellent podcast Ira & Steve. Touched on a lot. Agree with ya that Bucs don’t appear to be good enough to go 11-5 (which is what it’ll probably take for a playoff spot this year). My problem is I don’t even think now that they’re good enough to go 9-7 like last year … and 8-8 may even be a stretch. Falcons & Panthers & Saints TWICE, plus Packers, Lions and a couple other playoff contenders. Unless this offense gets its’ act together & keeps it together (as in 30-35 pts/game at least), we’ll have a very rough season. Our offense is the key, not our defense (Smitty’s doing an incredible job BTW with what they gave him to work with).

Arizona may not be as good as they were last year, but they’re still an extremely dangerous team. Remember Jameis 5 turnovers last year as we plowed to a 40-7 loss? Reason? Game-plan & play-calling … Jameis threw 11 deep pass passes & completed only 1 (not counting 4 INTs in there?). ME13 targeted 18 times in 1 game (with 6 completions)? YGBSM. Once again we’re playing in their house … whoopee. No, anyone expecting anything less than a dogfight and an even-money game is disrespecting Arizona.

I do like your comments about unleashing DJax … especially using more slants and intermediate routes to get the Cards’ secondary more concerned about the closer stuff. DJax strength is YAC … Jameis needs to hit him quicker & when he’s somewhat more open so DJax has space to maneuver. And yes, our OLine is coming on strong so hopefully our OC shows more patience with Martin & the run game & the short passing game (and starts using the rest of our backs too … Doug isn’t a 1-man show).
