    Ira makes JBF GREAT!

  2. Miko Says:

Love the Ira podcasts…but what happened to my “Morning Cup Of Joe”?

  3. macabee Says:

Ira Kaufman and Rock Riley has the type of animated delivery that makes a story interesting. Specifically, Ira is an excellent Journalist – story teller!

  4. Buc4Lyfe79 Says:

Almost an hour of audio today, that should last through my morning workout.
Awesome. Happy Saturday Anniversary Ira, glad you came aboard.

  5. D-Rome Says:

Congratulations on the anniversary! I never miss an episode of the Ira Kaufman podcast. It’s my favorite Bucs podcast.

  6. Buccfan37 Says:

I was happy when the Favre to the Bucs deal fell apart.

  7. Bob Higginbotham Says:

Happy Anniversary Ira! You are a treasure to read and listen to! I hang on your every comment and want you to be more dominant in the podcasts!

This next question is for the “Joes”.

Why aren’t comments from the Joe Bucs site mentioned in the podcasts? It’s always comments from ITUNES or Podbeam. Don’t our opinions matter?.

  8. Alan SECTION 119 Says:

    @Joes ,
Can we have the entire interview on one podcast?
Would be nice to hear the full version without having to
Listen to 6 podcasts in a row with bits and pieces.. seems like a tom jones kinda move.

    STICK CARRIER REPPING 119!!!

  9. Joe Says:

Can we have the entire interview on one podcast?

Not smart business to dump it all in one spot in the middle of July.

  10. BucsOrange Says:

Happy Anniversary Ira! Thanks for the laughs and all the sage wisdom–
So happy you are with JBF and wish you many more years!

Wow , Tom jones couldn’t have said it better himself.
I mean we’ve all already listened to all 6 why can’t we just have the entire interview????
Jut saying I thought this was JoeBucsFan.
    Starting to feel like TomJonesFan.com

What does this have to do with Tom Jones? LOL Simply stated. Joe and Ira wanted a chance to dive deeply into each of Coach Koetter’s takes individually. That was really not possible or practical to do with a very long interview on a podcast that stays well under 1 hour. If you don’t feel like listening to the podcast and just want to hear the head coach, well, that’s another discussion. There are many thousands of listeners to each podcast episode, so Joe is not concerned. –Joe

  12. Eric Says:

Best podcast and it’s not even close Commish! I come here to get Bucs knowledge and Ira delivers, along with the Joe’s. Justin used to be one of my favorites to get info on my Bucs way before when he was on the radio. His insight on the draft was always insightful while also entertaining. Now his podcast has turned into a bunch of yelling fools who sound like they are cursing to impress their friends in 5th grade. All Justin does now is talk about ” the movement he created” . He’s a little to full of himself and really there is nothing as far as news or knowledge on the podcast. I could care less about hearing tools with no talent give their 2 cents while screaming. Pretty ironic that the motto is “Speak softly and carry a big mf stick” All I hear is a bunch of big mouths because people who do carry a big mf stick don’t run their mouth like that! Biggest talkers are usually the biggest pu$$!es.
Not to mention I don’t want to hear people giving shout outs like a bunch of sheep to Brocatos. and ..blah blah blah. It’s old and played already. Talk about the Bucs not yourselves, trust me none of you are that interesting. Hey Ira, help him out before it’s too late!

  13. Joe Says:

    Eric:

Thanks for the kind words. To be honest and fair, Justin’s podcasts average 30,000 downloads a week. Hard to advise a guy with that kind of success to change what he is doing. There are a helluva lot of radio stations in the Tampa area that wish they had that kind of listener base.

  14. Herb Says:

    Well stated, Eric.

After all the talk and all the screaming, I still don’t know what being a ‘stick carrier’ means. All I hear is a podcaster whose shtick sounds like a cross between a second-rate WWE superstar and a hallelujah preacher, just someone who is trying to drum up business.

Ira is wise not to get sucked in, he is not wearing a stick carrier shirt to practice.
