Got HBO a week before it was officially announced because I knew the Bucs were coming to Hard Knocks. Never had HBO before so the upside was bingewatching Game of Thrones on demand and catching up to the “present” just in time for the start of the current season 7. Cool show I must say.
I’m glad that both coach Koetter and Coach Smith have been through being featured on Hard Knocks before. Should help keep any potential “distractions” to a minimum.

I think it’s inevitable that HK will be a distraction, but that it’s up to the team, players and coaches both as to how much & whether it’s a good or bad distraction. Could just be another way to blow off steam, as one possible example. Could be a huge negative, if they take it too serious, as another. We’ll just have to wait & see what happens.

Got to give it up to George RR Martin for simply creating very compelling characters that can still shine through the dragons and blood and gore.
BTW Pickgrin…Bonzai is a good writer in that genre you should get him to provide you with a contact to read his stuff.
As for a distraction…I welcome it….there is NO greater distraction than SB week. We’re going to Minny this year guys…might as well get used to distractions.

SPBF – Yea – the GOT character development is solid. The semi-regular T&A displays and occasional soft porn style sex scenes are an obvious plus as the women featured are always pretty attractive
I like how they aren’t afraid to kill off major characters on a regular basis and how it always takes you totally by surprise when it happens. Bringing Jon Snow back from the dead was a bit hokey though. He still knows nothing……
Some of those major battle scenes they’ve had are quite impressive. Must take weeks or even months to shoot some of those individual episodes.
