Unless OJ Howard is there, I say trade down and pick up an extra pick.

  2. Gencoimports Says:

And for Ira, two words for Thursday night –

    Hello, Carlo.

  3. Welcome Back Koetter Says:

I hope there are plenty of references to Ira’s age. Unlike Ira, they never get old.

Damn, he really did take some swipes at you Irv!

IMO, Barber is more deserving than John lynch, I think his numbers and career speak for themselves. “System cornerback” moniker is garbage. He was a generational talent. I like all the points Scott made in his article, and the quotes from Dwight Smith and Simeon Rice are great. But I have no idea why he kept knocking Ira.

Stats, game changing plays, career longevity and all around great guy for his team and community. Plus he redefined the the play of a “nickel corner”. Should be a no brainer. Get him in Irv!

  5. Joeypoppems Says:

Its not what Ronde did or didnt do in his career. Its the guys that he is going up against that will make it tough to get in. Randy Moss, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Richard Seymour is a sneaky candidate if pass rushers are loved that much.

Granted I read it quick, but none of that was mentioned in that article.

  6. Tampa Tony Says:

Don’t agree with what Reynolds said about “Irv” but I’ll give him props for putting his name on the article something Steve and Lee refuse to do
Tony, this is JoeBucsFan.com. The site has been written in the 3rd person since Day 1. Obviously, you can see that there is a distinct style at play. It’s not about putting names in lights and ego jerking. And for all you know, there are other Joes behind the scenes.

  7. Tampa Tony Says:

Joe, that’s fair especially since there might be more Joes than just Lee and Steve

    Joe-

Reynolds has been hating on you for a while now. Last year on twitter too. I stopped reading his website filled with his religious and political views. What a joke, 4 half baked articles at the end of the week? Terrible. Keep it going y’all.

Oh, he’s been after Joe since this site was launched. Joe knows all too well.

Appreciate the kind words man. Thanks for the support and info.

  10. JonBuc Says:

Despite Steve’s attempts to paint Ira/Irv as a “fossil”…he has aged like a fine wine. The Joes have aged more like cheese. I kid of course. This podcast has been absolute money. Thanks for trotting it out 2 x /week.

That’s because JBF.com has absolutely “ear-holed” PR while stealing viewers
(me included). Smug Scott has good insights but I prefer the real time JBF and now with All World Irv…
