Chris Godwin Highlights

April 28th, 2017

Sleeper and a burner.

The Bucs finally got depth at wide receiver. It really shouldn’t have been this hard.

Penn State’s Chris Godwin is a burner who shows up in big games. Joe got aroused watching him in the Rose Bowl against USC, specifically a couple of plays when he got the best out of superb athlete cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, drafted 18 overall yesterday.

Watch and enjoy.

    Very nice pick.

  2. JimmyJack Says:

The only good thing about drafting a diva reciever from PSU is that we have some good professional reciever here to smack some sense into him………we have the QB too. This could work out

Another savvy Pick from our GM. So blessed to have this guy leading the charge towards excellence & Returning winning football to Tampa.

    Lets. Go.

  10. DallasBuc Says:

They must be fine with DM by default after lackadaisically letting crazy first round RB talent go 2 picks ahead at 50th pick.

  11. Bucamania Says:

Speed and size and plays BIG in big games. Love it!

    Playmaker !!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  14. Tbbucs3 Says:

Joe Paterno is the reason that Penn St wears black cleats cause it makes the players look slower on film when their opponents scout them. That’s why he looks like he’s just striding on film. We just got a good player.

  15. JimmyJack Says:

No Walter. Hump is a nice possession reciever. Unless Chris can outshine Hump in hands and those other qualities Hump remai s our slot guy

  16. Bucamania Says:

    @Brion

    Joe Jurevicius

  17. buccfan305 Says:

Al’right Dirk, we only have 1 ball. It’s time to go Defense.

  18. JimmyJack Says:

All the Penn State moter aside, this seem like a fine selection. Heard clammering for this guy to be takennin round 2 from some Bud fans.

My guess is he was so high on Lichts board they had to pull the trigger

  19. BigMacAttack Says:

Great pick. May be steal of the draft

  20. JimmyJack Says:

No doubt they’ll get an Olineman before round 8. Licht, the former Olineman(which position?) surely has his eye on somebody special

One of the Jax receivers is from penn state

Hurns or Robinson I can’t remember which one

Good try tho brion. Love the negativity

i’m telling you “rudy” might not be as loved as some might have thought at one buc sure they may love his competivness and work ethic but these picks show me they are not nearly content with what they got even guys that contributed. i believe we see a lot of formations with howard as in line te brate in the slot mike and jackson/godwin outside we could also see sims line up in the slot as well i think most of the use we will get out of hump this year is quality depth receiver good for screens but not much else.. i could really see godwin pushing to start outside sometime this season and jackson going more to the slot and as a mismatch guy all i know is our offense literally transformed from one of the most depleted to most lethal in one offseason. nuts

  27. Mort Says:

Hump still in the slot, this guy can fill in when d-jax gets hurt or him or Evans needs some air. I was screaming for this guy for weeks and weeks before the draft even in round 2. I was over the moon when we snagged him I the third round. I’m definitely leading this mans fan club. Couldn’t be happier with the pick. This was a supremely deep draft and we seem to have made the most of it. Potentially four significant contributors. Actually all six could have decent roles on this team when all is said and done. So, so excited.
