Keep On Keeping On

February 11th, 2017

Lauded.

Yeah, it is that time of the year where folks put out lists. Draft, free agency, top players, you name it.

February and June and July are lists seasons.

Dan Graziano of BSPN.com is no different. He recently published his list of NFL quarterbacks ranking America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, rather low.

Still, Graziano gave Jameis perhaps the best compliment any athlete could receive. Graziano referred to Jameis as a winner.

Despite too many interceptions, Jameis Winston sure knows how to win games. He willed a substandard Bucs team to the edge of the playoffs in 2016 and absolutely has command of the huddle and the locker room.

Well, Joe’s not overly convinced the Bucs were substandard last year, but Joe gets where Graziano is coming from.

Rather than cite 2016, if Joe were to build up Jameis’ case, Joe would refer to 2015, when the Bucs had a truly horrid defense and yet Jameis, then a rookie, had the Bucs at 6-6 and in a December chase for a wild card.

To Joe, that was more impressive than what Jameis did last year.

Any team with a soft mentally weak captain like GMC will always be labeled substandard. There would be no losing culture the last seven years if Mccoy was not there to lead it and corrupt the locker room with his love of losing and pathetic low standards what is Special.

In 2015,Jameis proved he could carry this team on his back without a defense and just a substantially amount of players to work with on offense with true talent.2016 injuries hit the offense and the defense showed it can step up and dominate even the greatest of offenses.2017?if Licht goes all out in FA and hits it big in the Draft,AGAIN,I truly think we will be playing into deep January football.Drew Brees and Newton couldn’t do it for their teams and they are elite QBs. Why is Jameis different?because he doesn’t see Offense and Defense and Special Teams as 3 different squads but as a whole.

To think that I actually used to read Tmax’s comments.

Tmax’s truth can be disheartening to some. Fact of the matter is he is right,no matter how enthusiastic I may be about 2017 I can’t honestly say winning BIG is what I can expect with that dude on the roster. He a is pollutant that must be removed before I will truly believe we are about to do BIG things. “Aww shucks” don’t cut it in an arena of men intent on ripping your head off.

  5. Pickgrin Says:

Yes – GMC on the team is definitely keeping and will continue to keep the Bucs from winning…

LOL and SMH. God you guys are such IDIOTS with that BS.

And way to stay on topic here tmax….

    Ah human beings… Emotional creatures
Some here believe a man is measured by his words and heart… Both of which comes into question with #93…
@Pickgrin… C’mon man your watching the games right… Those pregame speeches…. Snore
That post season special comment… Sh!t
Trade him…I would, but that’s me. I don’t care what the stats say, as there are more than twisted to suit our agendas. I trust my eyes

  8. Pickgrin Says:

Yea – we lost a game because GMCs pre game speech was not uplifting enough…

    SMH

GMC is one of the best players at his position in the NFL. The Bucs are way better off with him than without him. Having an opinion opposite to that goes against the opinion of damn near 100% of everyone that plays in this league and works in this league. Anyone who wants to be THAT GUY is welcome to thanks to the 1st Amendment But it sure makes the small group of you that throw your outlandish and negative opinions of GMC in everyone’s face as often as possible look foolish.

Do not always agree with Dumig but enjoy his show.

Pickgrin, could not say it better. These guys are clowns.

The scary thing is Jameis is only 23 yrs old…He has amazing arm talent for one…and, he’s a smart football jukie who plays the game with that Will to Win/Die Hard mentality that I personally love…as a fan the only things I’d like to see JW do better moving forward is protect himself a little better and protect the ball a little better…(IF the Bucs Front Office doesn’t screw things up) mark my words #3 will win more than 1 Super Bowl…

Yall are silly. Good thing yall are no where near the Licht’s desk. GMC should retire a Buccaneer, we just have keep building- you don’t get rid of a blue chip player you build around them. Aren’t many good 3 techs of his caliber in this league. I don’t understand why yall dislike the man, yall been hating on dude ever since he got hurt in his 1st 2 seasons.

    NOSBOS

Oh noes!!! Don’t tell me you got TMAX fever. This first line is all it should take to make your realize what lunacy he’s posting!!

Any team with a soft mentally weak captain like GMC will always be labeled substandard.

Any team that lets ONE player who is according to blog warriors “mentally weak” make them substandard is doomed. If the other 52 guys are that freaking weak that ONE player can make them substandard then clean house…Jameis included. That post is just stoooopid. No one player…other than perhaps a QB can tank an entire team. Talk about scapegoating a dude.

This has reached moronic levels…don’t be that guy NOSBOS. We can all debate how good or bad GMC may be…but anybody who claims he singlehandedly is holding this team back is just a freaking joke. Again ONE player cannot do this!

    I’m with SB 100%

To think that I actually used to read Tmax’s comments.

  14. Blake_bucsfan Says:

@Stpete, NosBos and Tmax were probably part of the crowd that wanted to oust Donald Penn too.

  15. StPeteBucsfan Says:

    Blake

Could be…but it’s even worse this time. People can debate the value of GMC till the cows come home and I’m OK with that. But anybody who wants to blame ALL the Bucs problems on any ONE players has just lost any shred of credibility.

The ONLY single players I’ve seen that might have really harmed their team are dudes like Jeff George and other horrible QB’s.

  16. Blake_bucsfan Says:

We are in agreement, I am a firm believer that while Gmc is no where near Sapp, he is still really good. Him with Calais Campbell, Spawn, Rob Ayers, and either JPP or Melvin Ingram, we could transform our pass rush from middle of the pack to elite. In one offseason!

Gmc is gonna shine shine shine with some more help.
