ASJ Cuts A Deal

February 16th, 2017

Dealer

So was Austin Serferian-Jenkins intoxicated while driving down a Tampa highway before he was caged in a police car and recorded yearning to defecate?

We may never know. Certainly, the hilarious dashcam video is unclear.

TMZ Sports is reporting today that the former Bucs underwhelming buffoon of a tight end cut a deal.

According to court docs, Seferian-Jenkins pled no contest to a reckless driving charge and in exchange, got 1 year probation and 50 hours of community service.

He also has to attend DUI school and pay a $500 fine.

On Sept. 23, per WFLA-TV, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson said ASJ was stopped entering Interstate 275 near SR 60 after traveling between 75 and 80 mph in a 50 mph zone and weaving back and forth. And he conducted an improper lane change. Seferian-Jenkins was charged with DUI and a violation of an ID restriction, which stemmed from a 2013 arrest in Washington.

Hey, this is typically what happens when you can afford a solid DUI attorney, a slap on the wrist.

  7. University of Seffner Says:

ASJ is one good role model, and has such great character… (sarcasm). For him to get a light sentence is ridiculous. Who was the Judge in charge of this?

  8. LakeLandBuc Says:

It sure would have been nice if we had drafted Allen Robinson, Devante Adams or Jarvis Landry instead of him.

  9. SB Says:

Jeeeeeesh Joe……..You really need to do something about your AutoBozo feature. I just typed a lengthy comparison to my best friend and how he is getting screwed on a DUI while ASJ walks with Zero cursing, Zero attacking of anyone, Zero malicious content and it was AutoBozo’d.
    C’mon man.

  10. SB Says:

And After my comment was autobozo’d for No Reason my next comment is in Moderation

Such as? Joe’s not a computer programmer. The filter comes with the software, and no, Joe is not going through the labor and cost to change the software for this, sorry.

Of course, with a very simple click of the mouse, Joe could make each and every comment go to moderation which may or may not be approved hours later.

Just watched some highlights on a CB named Damonte Kazee out of SDSU who is flying way under the radar. Kid had 14 Ints in two years and loves to hit too. Keeping an eye on that kid at the combine

  19. pick6 Says:

a guy who gets off scot free on the second strike for any infraction is a very likely candidate for strike three sooner rather than later. The only thing that might save him is if he stays in NYC all offseason, nobody drives themselves around that town

Want a good lawyer? Call big a$$ Roz at Ask Gary! Lol.

  21. Stpetebucsfan Says:

Well as the guy here who spouts the positive I do see ONE silver lining in this fiasco. At least wealthy famous black people are now able to purchase “justice” that was once reserved for wealthy famous white folks. Hey we’re making progress…sorta.

  22. Stpetebucsfan Says:

This is the part of this I do not get. I was under the impression the NFL had a program to actually come and pick up their athletes who have too much to drink?
    Am I mistaken?

And so my son is in the Navy…hopes to go into the JAG…he’s in his final year of law school. Now when he visits he will no longer borrow our convertible…he just doesn’t want to drive down here because when he’s down here he comes to pound some brews. Two or three brewskies and he risks a DUI. He told me he has the UBER app handy. One DUI and he cannot sit for the bar…his Navy career is toast…so for the next couple of years he’s going to be one of UBER”s best customers.

What part of loading an Uber app can the NFL guys not figure. I’m in St. Pete and it costs $30 to go all the way to Clearwater and visit the Scientologists…lol
Can anybody tell me ONE NFL player…even on the practice squad that can’t afford 10-20 bucks to get home?

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

Like you are all surprised. Its been going on for centuries in our court system.
If you have money, you can hire the best attorneys. And the choice of Attys does make a difference. The real good ones? You pays that money..honey. No pay..no play and stay..do not pass go..to prison/jail. I’ll give you a personal example. My brother who..I’m ashamed to say..took the left turn many yrs ago has been to prison 2 times. Recently, he went to court for a felony and beat it. Yes, he was guilty. Retainer fee for atty? 12 large. After the case? 25 large.hIS ATTY FROM mIAMI was s o smooth? he made me cry!!

  24. Buc1987 Says:

I worked with a guy once that had FIVE.

    Five DUI’s!

He obviously doesn’t have a license for life, but dayum.

Why is this guy out on the street?

  25. JonBuc Says:

Who knew someone could top the TE Turd category above Jerramy Stevens? Well played ASJ. At least Stevens signed as a free agent….this dope cost the Bucs a high 2nd rounder!

  26. Pit Says:

Saying your website kills the battery is not BS or malicious.
But I guess that’s not allowed to be talked about around here.

  27. destinjohnny Says:

jason how could you spend 5 minutes with this guy and draft him???

  28. Pickgrin Says:

In the video – ASJ tried keeping it together at first – but he wouldn’t shut up and that’s what got him arrested. Cop told him he could go but then he kept talking and it became obvious to the officer that he was impaired.

Once ASJ was in the back of the cop car and on his way to jail though – it was obvious that he was pretty wasted from the way he was talking and some of the things he was saying. That line about having to take a big fat sh!t will live in infamy… LOL

  29. Max Says:

let’s ban all tight ends from the state of Washington! not only from football but from Florida in general!

  30. BigHogHaynes Says:

No hard feelings from me ASJ, as a people we know life can and will be unfair but we boot up and keep it moving! My people been done by it since the early 1600’s in this country!

  31. CarolinaBucFan Says:

If this country’s so bad to you big hog, then maybe you should leave it

  32. Bucwylde Says:

    BigHog

When you say “my people” do you mean stupid people?

  33. Tampa Tony Says:

That 2nd round money got him off the way too easy
