Saints At Bucs Game Moved To 4:25 P.M.

"Watch out little man."

“Watch out little man.”

TV executives are embracing your Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

FOX has moved the Saints and Bucs game on Sunday, Dec. 11, to 4:25 p.m. It was originally a 1 p.m. start in Tampa. This is done to put more eyeballs nationally on the telecast.

Joe loves the later games, so this is excellent.

It’s also great to see more exposure for America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, and the Bucs. What’s not to like?

Man, if the Bucs beat San Diego on Sunday. This Saints game will be explosive with all the home fall extra lubed up after an afternoon of tailgating.

beat San Diego and it’s a virtual lock that Bucs/Cowboys gets moved to Sunday Night Football too

  2. University of Seffner Says:

Hope that Bucs fans outnumber Saints fans at the stadium. On Sunday, the crowd had a lot of Seahawks fans.

  3. 813bucboi Says:

great…..now I don’t have to be jimmy Johnson right after church…lol….

the saints have been playing decent ball lately….their defense is still shaky but their offense is explosive as usual…

win the next 2 games and dallas may get flexed too!!!….jameis vs dak in jerry world…..that’s must see!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  4. 813bucboi Says:

@university….your right but the place was packed with loud bucs fans….the best thing about it was that they(seahawks fans) were quite for most of the second half….we continue to win and opposing teams fans wont want to come to rayjay….GO BUCS!!!!

  5. pick6 Says:

thankfully, there’s no NFC South fan base that travels particularly well, so it should be the biggest bucs crowd since the opener. let’s just hope the bucs continue to do their part also

  6. Magic Marpet Says:

University of Seffner. I laughed hard at your screen name. That’s pretty good. I’ve never seen you here before.

  7. R.O. Says:

Unfortunately Packers/Seahawks will get Nat’l. Bucs/Saints will still get more Regional.

  8. Pit Says:

Love the picture with that caption there.

  9. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I hate later games. I much prefer early ones.

Now I will have to make dinner for the family AND my football food to eat at the same time.

Not to mention, I prefer the media ignores us, because it seems like every time the Bucs start getting attention, they take two steps back.

    /tiny rant over

  10. unbelievable Says:

Dammit! I’m traveling during the afternoon games that day and was very excited Bucs had the early game. Sucks for me

  11. unbelievable Says:

Agreed Bonzai, I like being under the radar too

  12. Buccfan37 Says:

I prefer the early starts at 1 pm. The Saints are a strange team with Brees, without his effort the Saints overall suck as Ira stated. The Bucs can do their job and return the bags over the Saints fans heads.

  13. Stpetebucsfan Says:

I say bring on the radar!!! Let’s just fly over it for once!!! This team is off and flying. We’re still a year away from making real noise but we’re already going to be scaring some teams this year.

I hope we’re undefeated until Dallas…would that game be big in Tampa ?

So on Sunday was my first game at Raymond James (Loved it) but before the game I was so furious with how many seahawks fans I saw, I wanted to dump their nachos all over their shoes it was disgusting how many there were… I flew all the way from BC (still about 1000km North of Seattle) and I was so worried we were going to lose and have the thousands of Seahawk fans make me never want to come to Florida again!! I was so WRONG and thank god we crushed them on Sunday!!! What a blast and to see soooo many dissapponted Seattle fans I bet they had a long sad plane ride home… Myself on the ither hand? Grinning from ear to ear!! Hah!! But what I am getting at is wow we need more fan support at home, I’m very happy and feel very lucky I was able to see RJS the loudest it has been in years but to allow that many people to fly across the continent and expecting a win like that!!! No way. Unfortunately I can’t be there screaming my head off every weekend sonit’s up to you guys!! Keep it up and we will see success the defense was feeding off of us for sure!!!

I’ll be coming back next year for sure. On a side note I also went to FSU and watched the Gators and Noles game. Holy **** you guys are crazy about your college ball!! What a crazy experience.

  15. Bucwylde Says:

    @BritishColumbiaBuc

I doubt most of those Seahawk fans actually travelled here from very far, I would wager they are bandwagoners that became Seahawk fans after their Superbowl win.

  16. BoJim Says:

Bucs on TV for me yet again! Every time I say the Bucs are on TV again she says “I thought you said you could only watch them twice this year?” Man, this is so nice!
