Niners Punched In The Mouth

Leave it to an ex-Nebraska offensive lineman to build a smashmouth offensive line.

Leave it to an ex-Nebraska offensive lineman to build a smashmouth offensive line.

The Bucs got physical today.

To be specific, the Bucs offense got physical.

Joe can’t remember the last time the Bucs took it to a defense like they did today against the 49ers. Just played old school Big Ten smashmouth run-over-you offense.

The last time had to be when the A-Train, Mike Alstott (of Purdue), was blasting defenders. Today’s game was beautiful to watch.

What impressed Joe most was how the Bucs simply beat up the white-wine-drinking, seaweed-eating NoCals. When do you remember a Bucs offense sending so many defenders to the locker room for X-rays? Awesome.

If that is what it takes to win games, bring it on.

And who is b!tching about Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht and his offensive line-building acumen now?

Today was a perfect example of what running downhill is supposed to be. Joe loved it!

  2. Ray Rice Says:

Being from the left coast Oakland Ca, and being a YUCS fan it was great being at the game and seeing the YUCS shut these MF 9er fans up.

  3. Rojas Says:

Pamphile needs to remain the starter, even with a healthy sweezy. He deserves it the way he’s been playing.

  4. SofloBucsfan Says:

Credit to Koetter for not abandoning the run when we went 14-0 down! And the O-line of course

  5. BucTrooper Says:

I am a little concerned about the offenses in ability on. ___& short. Other than that, they looked pretty good today.

  6. Rrsrq Says:

Looks like the birds about to go down after Dan Quinn went for on 4th and 1 on their side of the 50 in OT

  10. Bird Says:

Yah. We may have the smallest running back trio in the history of the NFL. They ran hard today

  11. cmurda Says:

All this greatness with the Bucs playing great football in the 2nd qtr and 2nd half and the cherry on top… dum dum dum. ATL just lost. Holla

Credit to both Head Coach Koetter and Coach Smitty!!!!! There are obvious holes on this roster that they are both covering up!!!! Adjusting in game to take advantage of other teams weaknesses!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!

    Chargers Win!

It’s a great Sunday Bucs fans.

    Enjoy it while it lasts.

    I’m a big Carr fan.

So I really am scared about the next game.

I had the Bucs winning against the Raiders before the season.

Umm I’ll get back to you later on in the week on the next one.

  18. Buccoon Says:

    BUCCANEERS!!

  19. Chris Says:

Yeah 87, Carr scares me. He’s a real qb unlike Bob, who completely shat himself today

  20. dreambig Says:

BUCS WIN! 3-3 and the season is still alive. How much sweeter is it that we did not let Isis loving, America hating Kapernick beat us. Go Bucs! God Bless America!

  21. The Buc Realist Says:

Sweet Sassy Molassy, what a game!!!!!!! and week for the Bucs!!!!

Kudos to the coaches covering up the obvious holes on these rosters!!!!

And now to the sad part!!! Some of the so called buc fans held a commie kaepernick club watch party at an undisclosed popeyes chicken!!! early reports had bighogheinous crying during the third quarter while wearing a kaepernick jersey and wearing a fake afro wig!!!!!!

The Bucs are .500 with 3 wins!!! and this just in from the stat geeks, It took coach my scheme 18 games to win 3!!!! so much the “same ole bucs crowd’!!!!!!!

    These times are a changing!!!!!

    Go America!!!!!!!

    And Go Bucs!!!!!!!

  22. Chris Says:

And 87, I’ve been bashing Jameis, but the guy out there is who I want . Even with the flag, that’s the fired upmJameis, making plays, tough throws I want to see . Not the tentative guy of the last few games. Still I think he looks at Evans a bit too much, but damn if he isn’t our own Julio Jones type wr

  23. BucFan20 Says:

They just beat a “poor, poor, poor garbage team”. If they had not all h3ll would have broken out on this site. Now when they beat a quality team then we will know what we really have. How many here predicted this win? Next week will tell more.

  24. MadMax Says:

Yes, Our O line! But we still need some work there. Just a little. They played like they shouldve against the trash 49’ers. But barely held on against the panthers, which wasnt all their fault. One more piece to this puzzle and we’re dominate against anyone (RT)

If we get Sweezy back, keep him at RG at his familiar position, PLEASE KEEP PAMPHILE IN HIS PLACE at LG, move Marpet to Center as long as he beasts there too (which I think he will) move Donovan to RT and draft or sign a LT. That would set us for a few years. NFL=NotForLong….we all know that.

  25. BigStinky Says:

    @BucFan20 – Agreed

The next 2 weeks are the games I want to see to see where we are at

  26. Waterboy Says:

Great game! Nice game plan and execution from the top down. Jameis rebounded nicely and limited his risks after throwing an early pick. The defense stepped up and held their own today.

  27. Waterboy Says:

Tandy is a guy that’s continuing to improve and impress me in Mike Smith’s system.
