Thanks guys! This helps fill the morning drive-time void.

Ira is dead right on the hits JW is taking, plus these 2 simple reasons:

    1. The o-line is good but not great for pass protection.

    2. JW holds the ball too long cuz he doesn’t want to give up on plays.

  3. Lord Cornelius Says:

Surprising to hear he got hit 9 times in the 49ers game. I don’t recall seeing that many hits at all or even ever worrying about Winston getting hit hard. Do they count when guys just run into him even when they aren’t knocking him over? Does this include him just falling over without being hit really? Just legit curious

  4. Buccfan37 Says:

Should ask Winston his opinion on the number of hits he is said to have taken. Then report his answer. I agree that the Raiders are due to rise and have shown that thus far this season. This weeks game will be a difficult matchup. Still see the Bucs playing tough here with a great chance to win at home kicking off the home stand.

Saw an interesting stat on BSPN today, it was talking about the Chargers come back win on the road, being down 17 pts. The Chargers have actually won 20% of their games on the road, when down by 17 points or more over the last 15 seasons.

Do you the team with the next highest percentage? That’s right, your very own Tampa Bay Bucs?

Who’da thunk it? Weird. Next teams on that list are the Colts and Packers.

Probably meaningless but I did find it interesting. I do like that this team seems comfortable playing tough ball on the road and pulling out wins. Never easy. Now if we can start getting some wins at home, we could actually start talking about the postseason days again!

  6. Bucnut2 Says:

JW gets hit because he holds on to the ball to long. 2 of his sacks were on him.

  7. Jolly Bucs Fan Says:

This is not even a debate, we don’t need 3 qbs we need a 2nd kicker. Don’t need to cut aguayo. We need insurance. Free up the spot

  8. Buc1987 Says:

Bucnut……waaaah you sound like a cry baby these days. I saw your dumbass in the open thread TRASHING our QB. Why don’t you take your trollish self and go away. Take lightningJameisisAnRwordbuc with you too.

Is your last name Kinsman for Ef’s sake? I mean really at this point.

Stick around if you must, but my GAWD Jameis and I are going to punish you for your ignorance.

Joe…you get this stuff for free? lol j/k
