I would have to say that it is out of respect and professionalism. Steve has been around for quite a bit longer.

  5. Giovanni Says:

    Everyone on JoeBucsFan.com,

Iā€™m flying in from Boston to watch the Bucs kick some tail for the Thursday night game against the Falcons. I wanted to know if there is tailgate party event that you guys are conducting for the pregame? I will love to meet you guys!

[Giovanni: Welcome. Joe would suggest you Twitter Derek at @WhatTheBuc on Twitter. His fan group has a large tailgaiting scene. Always enjoys hosting Bucs fans from out of town. — Joe]

  6. BucGator Says:

Haha. I have a love hate relationship with the Big Dog. I just try to remind myself that conflict and debates make good radio.

On another note, Joe I completely agree with you that WR should be a huge priority. Along with DT and S. We need speed at WR, depth at DT and a ballhawk at S.

  7. SB with Jameis Says:

In my 40 years of Bucs Fandom it is hard for me to remember so much negativity overall when we were 3 and 3. Why do So many people want to pick apart this or that about Our team? 3 and 3 People!!! C’mon Maaaan

  8. SB with Jameis Says:

Hey BucGator……….You and I are related in several ways

Whoah………I was gonna type ” Promoting violence to members of the 620 Media will get you tossed. Youve been warned” a few minutes ago. I Really almost did

  11. SB with Jameis Says:

Hey Joe, can the Cubbies do it?

  15. USFBUC Says:

@SB with Jameis – I think it’s a good thing that at 3-3 fans are seeking more and being critical of the teams performance.

I was listening during the show Joe.. And I got a bone to pick.
If you really think there’s Martin isnt our RB1 when he’s healthy you have a couple screws loose. “If it aint broke dont fix it..” Martin did just fine week 1, it was never broke until we threw a jitterbug-style RB into our between-the-tackles offense.. If anything Quizz technically will be our 2RB (though they’ll never admit that) with him spelling Martin on downs 1&2 and Sims, when back, will be our pass situation RB.
I like Quizz. He saved this season, and has for sure earned a roster spot here or a big ass check somewhere else next season, but he wont unseat our $7mil a year, pro bowl, 2nd in the league in rushing last year RB. If you dont like Doug being injured you dont take it out on him on the depth chart. What you do is you dont resign the guy, and I dont remember a single sane soul suggesting we dont resign Doug after last year..
Go Quizz, go Doug, go Bucs.

  17. Dick Butkiss Says:

Lol, Big Dog said TE in the 1st.

  18. mike10 Says:

Usually agree w you Joe, but I’m kinda w Duemig. Janikowskis rook numbers were sub par (68%). Rose to 82% his 2nd year, now the only remaining member of either team who actually played in the 2002 Super Bowl game. Give Aguayo time, raise your hand if you think the Bucs are going to the Super Bowl this yr.

And Doug Martin (when healthy) is a better overall RB than Rogers. Anything JR can do, DM can do better. The O line is playing phenomenally. If JR gets a 15 yd run, DM could have scored by shaking that safety.
