Buccaneers 34, 49ers 17

That taste in your mouth, Bucs fans? It’s the sweet succulence of respectability, a 3-3 record, second place in the NFC South.

How bout those Bucs today spotting the rotten 49ers 14 points before punching them in the mouth with 27 straight points.

Wear your colors with pride tomorrow.

Hats off to the Tampa Bay defense for playing with a little nastiness, sans the dumb-ass penalty for head hunting by Chris Conte in the first quarter. The defense was physical and aggressive, even if the pass rush had its share of struggles and the run D-line’s run defense wasn’t up to its usual standard. Joe loved the overall edge on defense.

Rattled early by another forced interception and his critical personal foul in the red zone, America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, snapped out of it to play quality football. Jameis finished 21 of 30 for 269 yards, three touchdowns and that one pick.

Man, the chemistry between him and Mike Evans is getting special in a hurry.

Here come the 5-2 Raiders to Tampa next Sunday. We’re about to learn a lot about the Bucs. Can’t wait!

You will get exited over the next 3 games.

  8. MadMax Says:

Dangit! Missed this post. I thought the Joe’s post of JR was the next one after the game thread closed. Anyways, my post there was meant for here. JR and a TEAM EFFORT!

Nice to get another WIN, and on the west coast against a west coast team.

  9. Ndog Says:

How many wins needed now Bighog? And where are all the scared people on this item this week?

  10. Stpetebucsfan Says:

Two in a row! A win on the West Coast. A recovery from a brain dead start. I’m not one of the Conte haters here but it’s time to send a message. He should have been immediately pulled from the game I do not care how bad the talent dropoff.

That penalty was stupid. I suspect Conte’s going to get a giant fine.

  11. Eric Says:

Man were right in the thick of it after six games!

    Welcome back Jameis!

    Fabulous job all around.

  12. mixxx31 Says:

    BUCS WIN!!!
    ROO TO DO QUES!!!

  13. BigStinky Says:

At least Jameis was more accurate after the INT. Finally, his second 2 game winning streak. We will see where we are at next week I guess when we play a real team

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Falcons lost! We are only one game behind the division leader now!

  15. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Bucnut2 is nowhere to be found.

  16. Warren Says:

We beat a bad team and it’s exactly the tonic we needed…now we need to not believe our own hype and have an amazing week of practice to have a chance against the Raiders. My personal hero for this game is Russell effing Sheppard! Hard work pays Son!!

  17. The Buc Realist Says:

Sweet Sassy Molassy, what a game!!!!!!! and week for the Bucs!!!!

Kudos to the coaches covering up the obvious holes on these rosters!!!!

And now to the sad part!!! Some of the so called buc fans held a commie kaepernick club watch party at an undisclosed popeyes chicken!!! early reports had bighogheinous crying during the third quarter while wearing a kaepernick jersey and wearing a fake afro wig!!!!!!

The Bucs are .500 with 3 wins!!! and this just in from the stat geeks, It took coach my scheme 18 games to win 3!!!! so much the “same ole bucs crowd’!!!!!!!

    These times are a changing!!!!!

    Go America!!!!!!!

    And Go Bucs!!!!!!!

  18. LargoBuc Says:

Some ppl on here are ridiculous. Lets save the “they didn’t beat anyone” talk til midweek. BUCS WIN!

  19. Chrisco4BUCS Says:

Make that a half game back plus we’ve already beat their sorry asses……. go BUCS

  20. Kobe Faker Says:

    Oakland going down

Back 2 back from west coast to east coast is very tough to do and…

The game starts at 1pm which is 9-10 am for their bodies

  21. Fire Goodell Says:

Oakland is staying in Florida this week and practicing in Sarasota.

  22. Mike Johnson Says:

Great victory. We..are now a 500 team which says we are average. Now I DARE..the Bucs to go above average and win the next game. I..DARE THEM!!!
They wanna make a statement? Keep winning and do not be satisfied with 500. Defensive backfield hit real hard for a change today. I like it when they can make receivers/running backs pay. Make’em pay somemore GD!

“Bucnut2 is nowhere to be found.”

    Not a bad thing.

  24. Buc1987 Says:

    I like this Mike Johnson.

  25. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Buc1987

I think he has caught “Buc Fever”!!!!!

  26. daveman Says:

I wish somebody like Lavonte David snapped that punk Kapernick in half and stood over his twitching body and saluted the American flag (assuming they even have one flying in a place like San Fran). Other than that. Pretty nice performance.

  27. Jeagan1999 Says:

Didn’t get to see the game today…in Texas for business and I was driving from Corpus Christi to Dallas…with a stop at In-N-Out in Austin along the way….but thanks to Sirius/XM in my rental car I was able to listen to the whole thing! When we can run the ball effectively, it really opens up the Jameis to Evans connection! Now let’s see if we can beat an ascending young team like Oakland next week!

  28. Pickgrin Says:

Good job Bucs. Back to back wins along with handily beating a team you are obviously better than is certainly a sign things are on the right track. Now lets see if we can start to make “home game” mean something again and beat a team that is better than we are. (Raiders)

  29. clint Says:

No one around the league or who follows the NFL respects the Bucs though. Still a second rate, doormat franchise.

Just hoping they don’t lose my OVER 7.5 wins futures bet. They’re going to though.
