Ayers, Stocker Out For Sunday

September 30th, 2016

red crossThe Bucs released their Friday afternoon injury report and sadly, few surprises.

Robert Ayers, Doug Martin, Cecil Shorts and Luke Stocker have been declared out for Sunday’s game with the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

None practiced this week.

Joe Hawley is listed as questionable, though he fully participated in practice today. Biggest name for Denver not playing is DeMarcus Ware, who is still nursing a forearm injury.

  2. Rojas Says:

Browns plan to release Josh Gordon.

  3. DI Says:

If the Bucs are having culture issues, we need more passionate people like Ayers and not a pot head like Gordon

May or may not be the epitome of evil. But, there is a history of Josh failing tests, with each failure causing the teams to miss an increasing number of games from a solid player. Is the risk worth it? I don’t know.

  6. Rojas Says:

Maybe a low risk, high reward depending on the outcome of rehab.

It might not be to many in the civilian world..but it is to the NFL and it’s their playground and their rules after all…

We don’t need another problem child..So no thanks to Josh…

Aaah, the NFL, where wife beaters and deadbeat dad’s are welcomed but smoke a dube, and you’re banished. Sign Gordon, what do you have to lose ? Bucs have signed ASJ and Aguayo in the 2d round and the defense plays like stoners anyway.

  9. Off the Cuff Says:

You can’t make the club in the tub or catch any passes from rehab.

  10. Rojas Says:

Agree you have nothing to lose.. Gordon has better hands than vjax, would take pressure off Evans, hump and even brate. You seen what he did to grimes in preseason.

Game of the week and my eyes. I predict the bus to Prevail and this one. 1-2 records. Home game ahead. Coming off a home loss. With a road win as confidence and a winnable loss. A game agaist the super bowl champs. This is the young bucs superbowl they it I can’t wait to see what TAMPA’S headlines are gone say.. Bucs win!!💯

    J Gordon?? Rather R white

  13. Conte Piscateli Says:

As far as Gordon is concerned, the staff got a good look at him Durning the joint practices. So I figure if they do or don’t make a move they have some personal info to make that call. For me I like the fact that the kid doesn’t just want to rush back to football. He knows one more screw up and he is done. So he wants to get control of himself. Good for him. He is as talented as any WR in the league and I think any team that signs him needs to expect that he won’t play much this year so it’s a big risk if you don’t wait for him to clear waivers salary wise.
