  1. Jason Says:

Wow he looks good. Just hope he won’t regret the loss of insulation when he gets hit

  2. NonyaDamnBucsiness Says:

MUCH quicker than last year! Nice!

  3. Defense Rules Says:

Looks like Jameis’ off-season workouts to get in better shape has really helped his quickness. Bound to pay dividends during the season.

  4. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Now that’s something we haven’t seen yet…..looking good!!!

  5. LovieBall Says:

Still got that Jameis strut but he is much faster.

  6. DB55 Says:

Just hope he doesn’t have to run like that come September

  7. Waterboy Says:

Nice improvement on that release too. I didn’t see the baseball windup.

  8. SB with Jameis Says:

Regardless of whether he will actually run more or not. The slimdown combined with last years 3rd and 19 is Threat enough. If he pulls off even a couple good runs in the first few games then our Offense will be opened up at least another 10%. He will never be confused for Cam when running but Cam will never be what Jameis will be in the aerial assault game. Yes, I said that.

  9. Stpetebucsfan Says:

I’m no longer sure he won’t be as good as Cam with his legs. Cam is larger and can run with more power but I’m almost in shock in the major difference in quickness!!!

I’ve always felt that #3 was an underrated runner. He’s not fast…he didn’t used to be quick, but he’s always been very agile, elusive and of course he has that competitive spirit…hence the famous first down run where the announcer had him stopped.

Now add quickness to his package…Tee it up we’re ready to go.

  10. BuccaneEric75 Says:

All I can say is, WOW!! He really looks like a quick twitch athlete in that video. If he can fix his long delivery consistently, he can be one of the best. If not, he’ll have to work to perfect the “look off” like he showed as a rook.

  11. DB55 Says:

JW had more TD runs than Martin last year. He’ll have more yards and tds than mariota, AGAIN. LOL. I hope he works on his slide though.

  12. SB with Jameis Says:

Yeah DB……One would think a Baseball player knew how to slide. Did he play in the American League in College??? 🙂

  13. SB with Jameis Says:

    Hey “NonyaDamnBucsiness”………I see you B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

His mentality his”whatever people are critical of when it comes to his game he will work on perfecting that to quiet them in the offseason”. Scary is what he will when he’s 25 years young.

  15. SB with Jameis Says:

NOLE!!…………What up brother? Wanna talk some Bucs ball on the phone?

  16. SB with Jameis Says:

Sh!t. Wife just pulled out the XBox controllers cause the boy is in bed. Shoot you a text, talk tomorrow. I am Sooooo Stoked about this yrs Bucs!!!

  17. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

    I’m up call me bro.

  18. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

Okay bro I’ll be lookin out for you.

  19. SB with Jameis Says:

    Speaking for Pablo:
    Manana Amigo.

  20. feelthepewterpower Says:

looks like his front foot was pointing towards the throw…good sign.

  21. Kevin Says:

WOW!!!HE NEVER COULD HAVE MOVED LIKE THAT LAST YEAR. IF HE COULD RUN WHEN HE WAS FAT LOOK OUT!!!

  22. Bob in Valrico Says:

    @DB
I am all for the sliding. That 19 yarder was memorable. But I also liked the one where he dived through a crease to get in the endzone. But,if he keeps it up it will probably shorten his career drastically. The best slider in the game IMO
is Aaron rogers, and injuries have seemed to creep up him too in critical parts of the season. Then it it probably didn’t help having one of the dirtiest players in the game stepping on him twice.

  23. Bob in Valrico Says:

    @feel the pewter power
Agreed,i did read somewhere that improving his footwork was one of his goals.
And when Jameis puts his mind to something, good things happen.

  24. James Walker Says:

I saw Jameis just before last Christmas at the Best Buy off Dale Mabry and he was skinny in person. Far skinnier than he looked on camera.
