“He’s Wired Too Tight”

June 17th, 2016
Dirk Koetter is busy this morning, explains NFL Network.

Dirk Koetter got a finger-wagging

Dirk Koetter got slapped around on the Buccaneers’ flagship radio station this morning.

WDAE-AM 620 morning co-host Tom Jones, who doubles as a Tampa Bay Times columnist, went off on Koetter getting annoyed by a reporter’s question about the fight during yesterday’s practice.

Here’s what Koetter said:

“If you guys just watched a two-hour practice and that’s what you got out of it, then you’re in the wrong spot,” Koetter said to assembled media yesterday. “Ok. If that’s your lead story, you’re in the wrong spot. It’s hot has hell out here. There guys are working their tail off. Emotions are heated. Guess what? That’s football practice.”

Here’ how Jones fired back:

“I’m going to make this prediction now, Rick. This is not going to go well,” Jones told WDAE co-host Rick Stroud. “He needs to calm down. He needs to get over it.

“First off, let me decide what the lead story is,” Jones continued. “Even if it was [my lead story], I’ll write the stories I want to write.”

Jones went on to tell Koetter to, “Put on your big boy pants,” and Jones is worried about how Koetter will react when he loses three in a row and gets grilled by media.

“He’s wired too tight here,” Jones said. “He’s acting like a jackwagon.”

Chucky, late in his tenure, was considered two-faced. Raheem Morris was too rambling and defiant. Greg Schiano was too militant. Lovie Smith was too condescending, mellow and dismissive. Now, it seems, Koetter is too in-your-face.

Smart head coaches realize it’s impossible to win with the media — unless they win on the field. Koetter vowed to do things his way when he was hired as head coach. Hell, he even said that was the No. 1 piece of advice he got from other NFL coaches: follow the beat of your own drum.

Koetter won’t change, and Joe thinks that’s fantastic. Just win, Coach. Simple as that.

  1. BucFan20 Says:

And you really think Koetter cares what Jones thinks? Jones is just another small time radio host. This is not a big market AM radio town anyway.

Actually, 620 has fantastic ratings. –Joe

  2. simpleasthat Says:

Jones voice is annoying enough not to listen to anything he says.

  3. Patrick in VA Says:

I think Jones got his feelings hurt a little bit and he’s being pretty sensitive here. Sounds like he’s got a pretty high opinion of himself and he’s the one that might be wound a little too tightly.

  4. CL Bucs Says:

Tom Jones is a whiny little b!tch, stop criticizing Koetter. Mr. Self important needs to remember he is just a part of the media, nothing more nothing less.

  5. Capt Kidd Says:

Tom Jones is the entitled jackwagon that needs tof put his big boy pants on. He’s always came of like a jerk mm in his columns,

  6. tmaxcon Says:

who cares what two idiots in a dying industry think. Radio is dying, Newspapers are on life support yet the coach is supposed to put his big boy paints. on. That’s pretty funny from a small town nobody. It’s funny how self important some people in the media think they are. Tampa media has always been a laughingstock nationally. Tampa is a bigger area with a large population but the media is as small town as it gets and always has been.

I with Joe… Just win Koetter

  7. 813bucboi Says:

lol….all rookies way to find their way in the nfl…even rookie hc…jones is right…the seat only gets hotter questions get tougher fans and media gets nastier if the losing starts….time will tell…GO BUCS!!!!

  8. Blake_BucsFan Says:

This dude knows jacks(p)it. Koetter aint wired too tight, he’s just real. And he tells it like it is. Reporters try to make it out as if a training camp fight is some rare occurrence , when they know its not. Cam Newton, A QUARTERBACK, threw down with Josh Norman in training camp just last year. Tired of the hoopla? maybe. Definitely not wired tightly.

  9. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

When I read that, my thought is that Jones is the one that needs to get over it. I think he can’t handle a guy as direct as Koetter.

  10. Garowzabuc Says:

Ditto here. Many of today’s so called “journalists” spend more time trying to make a story than simply reporting one, and they have way too much of a sense of being entitled to.

  11. R.O Says:

All I heard from Rick is wahhhh, sniffle, wahhhhhh!!!

  12. @Hands2theface Says:

Here’s my “Two Cents” for Mr. Jones….I like what Coach said. He’s right. You are making to big a deal out of this statement. Coach is a breath of fresh air compared to what has been stinking up the joint the last four years. Comment on what’s happening on the field as far as X’s and O’s, players and schemes. Not how the coach responded to something that is merely secondary news.

  13. Berserker Says:

Jones is a fool that always picks against Tampa. The worst. His tactics are tiresome.

  14. Erik w/ Clean Athletics 'The Kwon Alexander of Bucs Fans' Says:

Tom Jones got put in his place for trying to sensationalize any negative aspect of practice that he could cling to.

Of course, a question was going to be asked about the fight, but Koetter wasn’t going to allow that single incident to get blown way out of proportion and become another distraction like the ASJ incident.

Koetter nipped it in the bud this time. Good for him. And too bad if Tom Jones is all butt hurt about it.

  15. Kalind Says:

Shut up, Jones. You’ve been an unreadable a$$ for years. Now instead of you telling other people what try should be doing, it’s coming back your direction–so you throw a hissy-fit, temper-tantrum?

I’m glad I’m in VA so I don’t have to put up with tools like Jones.

  16. DallasBuc Says:

Notice Jones completely ignores the point of what Koetter is saying and goes straight to criticizing his style and attitude. The sensationalist media that is built on a model that thrives off of hype over substance should take a deep breath and take a look at the honor in their daily offerings.
At least Koetter is trying to do things the right way and staying true to himself. If Jones or Stroud or any other lousy old man that should go unnamed doesn’t like it, too bad.

  17. KD Says:

As others have said, Jones is insufferable. Prides himself on always picking against Tampa as well. Jones is a guy who needs to get over himself but is incapable of doing so.

  18. Maze Says:

Who gives a sh### what the worst reporter in Tampa thinks. Lmao

  19. BUC55 Says:

One of the most ridiculous and unfounded BS comments I’ve heard thus far about Koetter!!!!! We expect ignorance from the national media regarding the Bucs, but from a local guy??

You asked a stupid question and got challenged by the coach. So your feelings are hurt and your response is to make up BS saying “he’s wired too tight”. You need to look in the mirror you effing MORON!! Koetter has consistently behaved like a calm cool in control intelligent leader. Opposite of Jones!

I’ve been thinking of dropping the Times (ever since they started delivering it in place of the Tampa Tribune, which IMO was a much better paper, especially the sports section). I’m off to cancel NOW….good riddance!!!!!

  20. The Buc Realist Says:

Its funny to hear someone whine about a Coach that is telling them how to do their job, When they think it is the media’s job to tell a coach how to do their job!!!! The media thinks it some sacred cow!!! Some think they can take shots at everyone but as soon as the get a jab back that they are insulting their integrity!!!!

  21. Defense Rules Says:

Agree Maze. Jones is the worst sports reporter in Tampa Bay. Big whiny negative baby. I’m surprised that any of the sports teams allow him any access at all to coaches and players. Coach Koetter was spot on with what he told the reporters … guys are working their tails off and emotions get heated. Get over it, that’s not the story. Making progress and getting better every day is though.

  22. BigPoppaBuc Says:

Lol… I guess this guy could never work in New England.

  23. DallasBuc Says:

First thread in JBF history where there is complete agreement across all the comments!

  24. Getaclue Says:

Koetter is a man, Jones is a bitch

  25. Getaclue Says:

And most fans I know loved the way koetter responded, we have a real football coach finally

  26. LakeLandBuc Says:

Tom Jones was leading the charge for the Glazers to fire Greg Schiano in midseason in 2013, and I agreed with him. Rick Stroud has been covering the Bucs for 26 years, 7 Head Coaches has been fired doing this time, including 4 Super Bowl Head Coaches. Tom Jones carry a lot of weight with the Times ( he’s the sports editor). Dirk Koetter is new to the Bay Area, he don’t have a chance against the Tampa Times Sportswriters. The bottom line is Dirk Koetter has to win, and win now. If not, he will be roasted by Stroud and Jones, not only on the radio, but also online and in the papers.

  27. Getaclue Says:

Right and they haven’t played a game yet so jones can stfu before he starts criticizing the coach

  28. Buccaneers Says:

Freaking love Tom Jones. He always has a different way of looking at a story then everybody else does. Can never wait to hear what he’ll say next.

Great job for Koetter to reflect a story and take attention off the players. Good HCs can usually do that when things don’t go as planned.

  29. Bob in valrico Says:

As Licht says sometimes you say something, and you get Koetterized.
Jones is the one that needs to put on his big pants and talk to
Koetter instead of using his radio show to complain. Still
Some respected writers that don’t have jobs from the tribune.

    Bub

  30. Bird Says:

Is he the “two cents” guy. Who cares? That guy says so much stupid no sense

  31. Bob in valrico Says:

Note to Tom Jones,if Koetter thinks your story has d yr old merit,he doesn’t
    Have to contribute to it.

  32. BucTrooper Says:

I honestly gave up on 620… I don’t care about gambling or horse racing or golf and that’s all I hear when I jump in the car on the way home. Not to mention there are WAY too many commercials.

The only time I listen to 620 is from 5:30-6 when I drive my son to karate on Wednesdays and that’s when JoeBucsFan is on. It’s the only time to listen where I don’t get frustrated.

  33. ElioT Says:

Koetter shouldn’t worry about the piss-poor Tampa media. He’s here to coach his team and win games. A guy like Koetter is a guy I’d want to work for. No bulls**t!

    Let’s go!

  34. Patrick in VA Says:

Maybe I’m spoiled by being outside the Tampa area and hearing what real sports radio is supposed to sound like, but 620 is unlistenable radio. They have no personality, they don’t have likable talent, when people do bother to call in the hosts are combative and convinced that their opinion is the only that matters. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even tune in for the JBF segments anymore, which was the only segment I would download for the longest time.
It’s a shame, because I would love to be able to tune in and hear coverage of Bucs topics, but I just don’t have any interest in what they have to say about it.sd

Joe suggests you give 620 another try, especially Joe’s segments. Going to be a special season upcoming.-Joe

  35. K2 Says:

Perhaps, Tom Jones has a wire or two loose. Is he really upset about the coach trying to focus on football and the positives instead of a 45 second argument. Is the coach out of line by standing up for his players. The coach with be just fine although I will probably avoid Tom Jones when ever possible.

  36. K2 Says:

Media people constantly call for a new head coach and then they complain when the Glazers give them one.

  37. BucMania Says:

Jones is the only time slot I don’t listen too. The guy is annoying and a whining Bitc! . He’s the most negative dude on radio. Who gives a rats arse what he says or writes. Far better writers got let go and this hick is still got a job. Unreal.

  38. salish_seamonster Says:

This reporter sounds like a jackwagon. Reporters seem to think they have a right to make an issue out of non-issues to get a story (cough..JoeBucsFan..cough) … It becomes a story when the coach allows the conversation to go beyond a simple event. Reporter gets frustrated that he doesn’t have a good story, so they make up a story that the coach is too tightly wound. Sounds like BS to me. As a fan, I appreciate the fact that Koetter doesn’t let the reporters tell him what the story is.

  39. Mike Johson Says:

WINNING quiets everyone/Everything down. Even me! Critics will be critics. I’m very critical of my Bucs because every year we lose, we find a scapegoat. Its never, ever the players fault. Never. So Koetter needs to Win. Win and all the critics are silenced. Lose and the criticism pours like rain. Its that simple.
I’ll be a critic until the winning starts..on a frequent basis.

  40. feelthepewterpower Says:

Jones just needed something whine over….the usual. No story here.

  41. Jeff Larison Says:

The last thing Koetter should be worried about is the media. Small-time writer or national host, THEY’RE THE MEDIA. Their job is to write/talk about the sport or team. They don’t affect the game, strategy, or anything else that matters. And if any media personality thinks they matter to a coach, they’ve got too much ego. Koetter will be Koetter, and he certainly didn’t get hired because of his ability or inability to handle blowhards on WDAE or guys like Steven A. Smith, etc.

  42. Buccaneers Says:

I like the early morning sports radio show. Tom Jones and that other guy have some good back and forth conversations that are very interesting. Sometimes they make points I don’t agree with(like this one) but they are almost a?ways entertaining for a Tampa sports fan IMO.

  43. Bucsfanman Says:

Lol! I love when coaches put the media back in their place. It’s just entirely too much. They’re out there every day asking the same tired old questions.
Jones should be thanking Koetter for giving the media fodder to write this stupidity! Do YOU coach!

  44. Brian Says:

Loved Koetter’s reply. And yes, amazing to see the agreement from everyone posting here. Koetter is refreshing as hell.

  45. unbelievable Says:

Someone needs to help Jones get his panties out of a bunch. What a baby.

  46. LakeLandBuc Says:

You should never piss off the media, it could have devastating results.

  47. HIRE JIMBO Says:

    @ LakelandBuc
I really don’t think Koetter needs to worry about the media. The media LOVED Loser Lovie and look what that got him. Lol.

  48. gt40bear Says:

Debbie Downer needs to get over himself. The press is NOT God. He Tom, how about just reporting ALL the news and letting us decide what is important! GOD I hate the media! Yes, Koetter probably needs to relax a bit but Jones needs to understand that no one died and made him News God!

  49. Buccfan37 Says:

I line the bird cage with Times sports sections after I pull them out of the communal dumpster and read them. Jones mug and opinions get plastered.

  50. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Tom Jones isn’t a Tampa Bay sports fan anyway. I like it when the reporters/ radio hosts actually care if the local teams win or not. Most of them hope for disaster because it makes a better story.

  51. Old Buc Fan Says:

Do what I do. Turn on 620 after 9 so I don’t have to listen to the biggest complainer in Tampa. I used to listen when we had a good morning crew but they got too rowdy I guess. Rick at least thinks before he starts something, Tom never has.

  52. Kevin Says:

Shut up Jones, find something worth whining about. If he doesn’t wanna hear stupid questions he has every right to speak his mind and give his response. Don’t like it? Don’t Listen!!!

GO KOETTER, GO LICHT, GO WINSTON, GO BUCS!!!

  53. firethecannons Says:

Seriously, Koetter is just what this outfit needs, now if he can just dial in the snark and make a serious dent on the losing attitude and penalties that keep sinking the ship. Really–who cares if the reporters ego is hurt.

  54. BUC4EVER Says:

Jones is a bad writer, plain and simple…nobody cares what crappy story is being scribed by this fair weather jackwad – I am glad Koetter has some attitude, its about time we got some charisma back in this franchise!!!

  55. The Real Malloy Says:

If this isn’t proof that we have the right HC finally, I dont know what is.

    We ALL agree on something.

Koetter is the man and Tom Jones is a jock strap.

  56. johnnythemoon Says:

I miss the Tampa Tribune .

  57. Cobraboy Says:

    Wow.

Jones sounds a little Jr. High drama queen hormonal pi$$y.

I agree with Koetter. Fights and spats and shoving matches in spring ball or training camp happen all the time in every level of football.

What a limp response. He needs to put on HIS “big boy” pants and quit acting like a jackwagon with a delicate, privileged ego.

    Respect lost for Jones.

  58. Buc1987 Says:

In my experience I would say Tom Jones is one of the only “jackwagons” in the Tampa area. Stopped reading his BS columns YEEEAAAAAAARS ago!

Then again he IS a Steelers fan after all so whatever…

  59. Buc1987 Says:

Cobra…I have NO idea why you had respect for him in the first place.

I have almost as much respect for that afternoon radio guy as I do Jones…

    That’s not saying much.

  60. Buccaneers Says:

This entire thread is actually pretty hysterical if you really think about it. One little negative gets said about the HC and everybody’s getting over sensitive and bent out of shape. I think many of you are overhyped about a rookie HC and see him as some type of savior and that he could do no wrong……. It seems like some of your are coming to Dirks aid like he is a princess ahahahaha..

Dirks a football guy. If he can’t handle critic then he’s in the wrong business. I would hope that he either doesn’t care or he is laughing about this story. Part of a football coaches job is to set a tone. If that tone includes getting your feelings hurt then he’d be better off coaching beauty queens then coaching football player.

In other words, enjoy the radio when they’re talking about your beloved Bucs…..and let Dirk defend himself, which he should not even care to do for this nonissue.

  61. Buc1987 Says:

Buccaneers …for the record I posted mine before I ever read anyone’s comments above mine. Never liked Jones so Koetter’s opinion carries much more weight than that guy ever will. Even if Koetter gets fired someday.

Apparently you’re a Jones fan or something. I guess there has to be at least one.

  62. BucsForYodaIs Says:

Giant Wussy, Tom Jones has always been. In a wad, his panties are always.

  63. SCBucsFan Says:

Koetter handled criticism after losses last year pretty well, but then again, he wasn’t head coach so he wasn’t fully responsible. And he coached the offense which performed well most games, unlike the defense.

I’m sure he’ll be fine though. If they lose, he knows how to admit what went wrong.

  64. Buccfan37 Says:

I read on the link that Jones was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, went to USF and worked for the Tribune and the Times. A lot of people from up north come here and think they own the place and that native Floridians are slow and dimwitted. Get a grip, It’s called laidback. I’ve seen and heard this arrogance my entire life.

  65. JarvisMoss Says:

Who or What is this “Jones” you speak of? Never heard of it. While we’re on the subject, why do we have all these azzclowns in the Tampa Bay sports media anyway?

I call upon every true Bucs fan to MAN UP and call these ladymen on their radio shows and put them in their place.

  66. FartinMartin Says:

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve turned off 620 when Ton Jones starts talking over top others & interrupting people with his worthless nonsense.

My Advice for the Insufferable & Whiney Tom Jones:

Better to be thought a Fool, that to open your Big Fat Mouth ….
    & remove ALL Doubt

  67. Buc_Down_Under Says:

    For once Bucs fans unite.

Totally agree. Koetter is holding strong to what’s really important and what’s not. Stroud needs to take the short-term drama out and report on the long-term story of eventual success or failure of the season and overall coach’s term. We don’t need a mini-ESPN mouth running around in Tampa.

Joe, would love you to give consensus reader feedback to Stroud and see what he says about it. You give it to the Big Dog; give it to him. Ultimately, Stroud is “fighting” for us, the loyal offseason fans, and it’s clear that’s not even what we want to hear. Thoughts?

  68. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Isn’t Tom Jones that lounge lizard singer nicknamed the “Bulge”? What would he know about our coach?

  69. Buccaneers Says:

Yeah 87-I’m not a huge Tom Jones fan. Them guys in the morning are mildly entertains though. I kinda wish our sport radio had somebody a little more contravarsial….for years the sports talk in Tampa has been nothing but personalitys that are too agreeable(sinckeningly at times)

  70. Ocala Says:

This is the same Tampa Bay Times that employes Chris Baker that should tell you enough.

  71. BigHogHaynes Says:

The bullets are locked in the chamber, in 5 weeks it’s about to get real, people he is a new NFL head coach, he may just be a little tight! I did think throwing a guy out of OTA’s was a teachable moment, I’m sure ASJ wasn’t the only player to have a brain fart in shorts only practice! Wound to tight, sounds like he was saying Coach K maybe overwhelmed……….living on the edge!

  72. BigMacAttack Says:

Tom Jones needs to go to his safe space, grab his blankie an some warm tea.

  73. LUVMYBUCS Says:

In the Immortal Words Of The Great Bill Parcells

“That’s why I call some of you guys commies, that stuff right there.”

  74. Cobraboy Says:

I get *zero* impression or vibes that Koetter is over his head.

    In fact, just the opposite.

While not at the NFL level, he has plenty of experience as a head coach…and all the alumni butt-snorkeling that position entails.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jones is a Lovie sycophant.

    Buc1987 Says:

Cobra…I have NO idea why you had respect for him in the first place.

I have almost as much respect for that afternoon radio guy as I do Jones…

    That’s not saying much.

I’m agnostic until someone shows himself to be a total dick…

  75. Bob in Valrico Says:

think Eric the clean gets it.Koetter wasn’t happy with the media handling of
AsJ getting sent to the showers and subsequent meltdown. Not condoning what ASJ did but when members of the media become the judge and jury and try to take discipline out of coach and teams hands.,somethings wrong.so not wanting to have a repeat of that fiasco Koetter bluntly suggested Jones focus was in the wrong place. So Tom Jones didn’t like getting sent to the showers
either. A good reporter would have got Koetter to the side and asked what he did to pis him off.

  76. Buccaneers Says:

BigHog-All we can do is hope for the best here. Dirk is the next hope for us here in Tampa. It has been a bruuuutal decade long ride to get to Dirk.

HC #13(somebody look that up) feels a lot different though……it’s not because of who Dirk is. Not al all. Dirk feels different because of Jamies. Jamies is a freaking straight up winner. We here in Florida know it first hand!!!! The two of them working together, with is watching, means everything. Dirk cannot stand alone and neither can Jamies.

Dirk needs players, plain and simple, if he thinks he can win in this league. The players need coaching to….that goes without saying. I have total faith right now. Why shouldn’t I? And if the season goes flat my heart is softened from the past.

Regarding ASJ……If Dirk is any kind of coach the Jenkins has nothin but respect for his HC. ASJ could surely use a little lesson in sportsmanship and being a better teammate. I think that what Dirk had in mind since ASJ was not living up to the same standard of his teammates during OTAs. IMO the best thing we could hear from TC is nothing from ASJ coming out of practice…….Unless maybe the analysts can give us juicy details of his unstoppable TDs!!!!!

    Go BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  77. Buccaneers Says:

I have went back and listened to the original podcast of Tom Jones and it seems like Jones was a bit taken by the way Dirk had addressed the question. The show has also played sound bytes from the Koetter interview and he does genuinely sound as if he is somewhat bitter towards the question(tough judgement over a two sec sound clip).

When I think about it, it makes a lot of sense towards the story ValricoBob tells. Itt would be very coy of Dirk, and a great idea to get all of the talk/focus off of ASJ and onto the man who has to be there at all times.

No doubt about it. There can be some drama in the NFL. I only hope that this team has the same expectations and goals that I do. Dale Mybry and MLk hasn’t seen a Real Party in quite some time!!!!!

  78. Buc1987 Says:

    DavidBigBucsFan99 ….LOL

  79. Bob in Valrico Says:

hey, hey, hey we’re the mighty Buccaneers.Wouldn’t it great to be relevant again.

  80. Rich Says:

First of all, Jones didn’t ask the question. He was making his opinion known about DK response. Secondly, as per usual, Jones comments were hideous. Especially the ” this is not going to go well” one. He’s a very negative guy and obviously belongs behind a desk, not a microphone! Stroud tried to put him in his place but Jones spoke over him. I say good for coach K…..he’s absolutely spot on with his reply! Concentrate on the positives of a hot, grueling 2 hour practice…not a minor flare up that occurs frequently on the practice field. FYI…it was an initial statement by the sat morning host on 620 with a follow up comment by Ira Kaufman formerly of the Tribune that triggered coaches response. Take Jones for what he is..a panty wearing wanna be …..

  81. TheShaz Says:

I really like Kotter. His method in dealing with ASJ’s wandering mind was perfect. The kid will either shape up or ship out.

This also brings to my attention how much I despise the St Pete Times.

I took from the reporting of the Joe’s and other sites on how practice went. I have a coworker that is kinda in the Joe’s line of work and visited one of the OTA practices. Never once did I turn to the Bay areas lone newspaper.

The fact that we haven’t even gotten to Training Camp and the beat writer of the lone newspaper gets into an argument? Pushing and shoving at a football practice is nothing new. From Pee Wee to the Pro’s. It’s just more prevalent in the Pros roster spots, careers and livelyhood is on the line.

I hate the Times and fully support Kotter as long as I see improvement and what I have read here and at other sources. There is marked improvement across the board.

  82. Buccaneers Says:

I’m very surprised there is so much hate for Jones here……..I don’t know maybe I’m just old fashioned and everybody else has that satellite radio.

I don’t like everybody on the radio but that actually can be a good thing for talk shows. At the end of the day most of the personalities do a great job at covering Tampa sports. Even that idiot that doesn’t have a clue about baseball but he still always keeps listeners well informed and educated.

  83. Buc1987 Says:

Rich and the Shaz get it about Jones.

I wouldn’t use the Times to wipe my ass with and Jones is a big reason why.

The man writes to piss off Bucs fans. That’s what he does and that’s all he does. Never anything positive from the guy. The Bucs could beat the Patriots by 30 points in Foxboro and this guy would bash the Bucs the next day.

Yes he gets no respect from me. Nor does he deserve it.

I listen to 620 sure I do. When the JBF hour is on.

  84. Buccaneers Says:

This thread is turning me into a big Tom Jones honk. Can’t wait to see what he will say next. This guy likes to rock the boat, I want morre……I have never really noticed it because the show comes on early and I’m usually sleepy. Now I’m going back and listen to the podcasts and it is very entertaining.

BTW fans they are using Dirk’s sound byte from that interviewed and repeatedly playing it. They did the same thing with Lovie Smith sound bytes and it is/was V funny.

  85. The Rockstar Says:

Who the hell is Tom Jones?
