Accurate Jameis

“I can throw the ball wearing a $1,200 Italian suit.”

Don’t think Anerica’s`Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, is accuarate with the football? Think again.

In this CBS Sports video, Jameis is in San Francisco making the rounds to TV networks with outposts outside the Super Bowl Media Center.

He lands at CBS headquarters, and without warming up and with a faulty Adam Schein character of a target, wearing a suit even, Jameis displays his arm.

Now if only Jameis didn’t have buttery-hands to throw to on gamedays.

His reaction is great, and the fact he adapted to the situation and did it all while wearing a suit, and more to the point a jacket, is quite the site, and definitely adds a little to the hope of great things to come from this kid.

  2. tmaxcon Says:

Jameis’s enthusiasm is so refreshing… I would venture to guess he has fun doing everything he attempts with the exception of losing. Proud to have JW leading my favorite team.

  3. dreambig Says:

That was awsome! How fun is it to finally have a QB who doesn’t suck! Remember how bad Josh Freeman was at anything related to these kind of accuracy contests? Every preseason they would try to have QB competitions and Freeman would never win. I think the last time they did it the 3rd string QB beat Freeman.

  4. dreambig Says:

by preseason, I mean’t during the annual night practice

  5. JollyBucsFan Says:

    Damn that was impressive.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Love seeing Jameis having fun….in the spotlight….putting positive events in his “rear view mirror”….I think he has left his college days far behind and…that’s a good thing,

  7. Eric Says:

    Hell of a nice suit.

  8. Buc1987 Says:

    Sheeeet..that’s my homeboy!

  9. DB55 Says:

That was awesome! That Tux though Americas qb was flossin. And that accuracy on fleek.

  10. theodore Says:

    Missed one. Sign Johnny.

  11. LargoBuc Says:

Jameis had alot to work on when we first drafted him. But by November, his footwork had greatly improved, and that large, prolonged wind up of a throwing motion was reduced to a flare of the elbow. And obviously, he has improved in reading defense, going up against Dick Lebeau, Rob Ryan, Romeo Crennel, Gregg Williams, those are not easy defenses to decipher, all of those guys use alot of blitzes with multiple personel groupings that can make it hard to feel it out. And while Jameis didnt alway win, just going up against these defenses and starting all 16 games made him a better qb over time. Im glad we got our franchise qb and I couldnt be more thrillled its Jameis.

  12. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

This offseason he has no baseball, nor does he have to worry about all the predraft hoopla.

I expect ever greater improvements to the little things he needs to tighten up. The future is bright in Tampa.

  13. OAR Says:

Give me a break. Exactly like a lot of his throws low and out.

  14. OAR Says:

His shocked look, after the first throw, says it all.

  15. Clodhopper Says:

Idk what impressed me the most. His accuracy, his improvisation, or his genuine awesome attitude. Being a fan I’ve loved a lot of football players in my day but I don’t think I’ve ever loved a player like I do him. It’s probably unhealthy for a grown ass man to love another grown man this much. I get as excited as I did as a lad when the Ultimate Warrior would run out to the ring at Wrestlemania

  16. Another J Says:

    Get Famous America!

  17. Buc since '74 Says:

Hey OAR – take your “low” IQ and get “out” – we won’t be “shocked”

  18. OAR Says:

    BUC74
Oh I’m sorry did I hurt your feelings? You obviously have me confused with someone who gives a $h!t.

  19. Fsuking Says:

Hey OAR suck one. That is Jaboo at his finest. Personality, accuracy and most importantly Jaboo. Serouisly, consider his life compared to yours and honestly say your are not filled with envy.

  20. Jerry_G Says:

Hey OAR here’s a tip…take your 2cents and shove it up your A$$! Jameis is here to stay for good! you must be the Mike Glennon fanboy club president!

  21. Fsuking Says:

It seems we have OAR confused with a competent individual. That is our mistake as Bucs fans. He don’t go to games or nothing why should we care?

  22. OAR Says:

    FSUcking
    If one of my opinions offends you: 1) I’m sorry. 2) It won’t happen again. 3) 1 & 2 are lies. 4) You’re a pu$$y.

  23. Fsuking Says:

I call 3/4 into question considering I am a 6’3 280lb human who used to box and has never lost a fight. I would ruin your life in seconds

  24. OAR Says:

    Jerry
No thanks… my ass is exit only!

  25. Fsuking Says:

And learn how to spell. I went to FSU and my last name is King. Where did the c come from bud?

  26. Stanglassman Says:

    TBBF-

I think you are one of the few people on here who still thinks Jameis was some type of ‘bad guy’ in college. Let it go… it was all a smear campaign. He is the same guy he was in college just a bit wiser and more mature just like most everybody that comes from college to any situation where they are in a professional setting with more responsibility.

  27. OAR Says:

    FSUcking
Really???? You must need a lot of hand-holding.

  28. Fsuking Says:

Hey OAR, never had to say this twice on JBF but once again, suck one. I picture you as a lonely redneck type holed up in Spring Hill with a nasty divorce and one more on the horizon with few friends and even less self respect. Honestly tell me, am I wrong?

  29. Fsuking Says:

And I understand what you were going for. In that case it would be best to capitalize the FS and continue on with the ucking. If you were competent of course which is clearly your deficiency!

  30. OAR Says:

    FSU
Yep you are wrong! And, from what I’ve read of some of your other past posts it certainly isn’t the first time.
As for sucking one, no thanks I don’t want to cut in on your action.

  31. Fsuking Says:

I would love for any previous post to prove any of my wrong doings. I’ve been quite thoughtful on most of my JBF posts. I’ve never been wrong either unless you consider my 10 and 6 prediction preseason. A little overzealous but we had the talent.

  32. Tiny Tim Says:

    @ clodhopper

Ditto!!!!! I think its because we saw his potential and intangibles early in his college career and it was no way the football gods would smile upon the bucs’ organization and fans with such a gift. Lo and behold the bucs go 2-14 with winston sitting right there for the picking. Surely they would not be stupid enough to pass on him but we are the bucs which means baffling moves are so much a part of our DNA. Thank the football gods for this gift and we did not screw this pick by passing on Famous!!!

  33. Fsuking Says:

My next guess would be douchey Gators fan from Brandon. I know I’m right there!

  34. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @ Stranfassman

I don’t think Jameis was a bad guy in college…..simply immature…..and I am glad he matured…..unlike Manziel who is still displaying his college character.

  35. Strider ....Sec 147 Says:

Go Jameis 🙂 I gotta get his autograph this year at training camp!!!!!

  36. OAR Says:

“I would love for any previous post to prove any of my wrong doings.”
I’m not Buc1987, so I haven’t got the time for that. I see you have no couth to go with that ego.

  37. OAR Says:

BTW wrong again. Don’t stay up too late guessing, you might upset your parental units.

  38. Erik with Clean Athletics Says:

Jameis is basically my favorite player ever at this point. I love his personality so much.

  39. Pickgrin Says:

Jacket and all – That was awesome!

It appears we have a bored troll up in here….

    Don’t feed the trolls people

  40. Kevin Says:

I will never forget going to the night practice years back and josh freeman couldnt even hit the side of a gold cart much less the target in the middle of it. COULDNT EVEN HIT THE DAMN CART!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God as long as this guys stays out of trouble there are bright days for us bucs fans round these here parts ummmmhmmmmmmm……

  41. Kevin Says:

When did this become a chat room for children to argue and tell each other to suck it?

  42. Piratic Says:

    @Kevin: Around 2008.

  43. JAB83 Says:

“Diving catch.” lol…Nice…. But I prefer the instride catches…. Although ME might not…. Either way…. The only way you hate this guy is if your a fan of any other team other than the Bucs….
