TV Map For Bucs-Eagles

November 21st, 2015

tvYou asked for it, you got it. It’s the TV map for tomorrow’s game between the Bucs and the Eagles from the City of Brotherly Love.

Judging by the map below, unless viewers live in Florida or Pennsylvania, they will be pretty much out of luck. Fans will need to run to their local watering hole or fire up NFL Sunday Ticket, the greatest invention since the remote.

As always, map courtesy of 506Sports.com.

They don’t have their coverage area right. They aren’t showing it here in Gainesville according to my DirecTv viewers guide. They are showing Carolina vs Washington.

  5. The original "Kevin" Says:

Why carolina vs washington so popular??? Carolina is going to kill them.

Never go by viewers guide. Go to your affiliate’s website for confirmation. Dude that does the maps gets his info from networks.

Call me crazy, but I think Washington might just pull off the surprise upset of the week 2mrrow.

  8. Buccfan37 Says:

I could see that happening outright. Skins +7 looks like a lot. They seem to be improving. I hope they beat the peaking panthers.

Brett; the Gainesville affiliate is showing the Miami game. For some reason their program director never shows the Bucs since Chuckie was coach. A Fort Myers radio guy, Dave Moulton says that the decision of which game a market airs is decided by the network; not the local sports director or station manager but sometimes when you look at these maps you have to think that the local station has a say in both the NFL games and the college games; especially the NCAA games where the local station will sometimes opt to show something like Ohio State/Youngstown State over a Oklahoma/Texas matchup (this did happen at Moulton’s Fort Myers ABC affiliate a few years back, probably due to the huge # of Ohio transplants in SW Florida; dude got a lot of hate mail that week!). Its all about the ratings and the advertising bucks, not good football!

Skins did look impressive last week vs the Saints; enough to get DC Ryan fired. Good to see that Cousins could look like a pro bowler against someone besides the Bucs secondary. But yeah, the Skins getting 7 seems like a lot; Carolina may win but it should be a tight game and look at the moneyline; if it seems small for the number then that means that the wiseguys are picking an outright upset (like if the moneyline number is the same for the skins as it is for our Bucs who are “les” of an underdog). Bucs are getting 5.5 against the eagles; it would be nice to think they could win outright as well if they can get out to a lead and then Lovie does not go into a loser mentality turtle mode like he did vs the skins to lose the ****ing game…..

Fort Myers Dave; Ha ha, you’re right. But earlier in the week my DirecTv channel guide said it was the Carolina-Washington game here in Gainesville. Now that has been updated. But the Bucs are the next TV Market over from Gainesville, and Philly is market #4 last I checked… point being thy have a ton of fans. The winner of this game goes to 5-5 and is technically in the playoff hunt.

They also didn’t show the Bucs vs New York and Bucs vs Washington. Those teams have huge audiences, and then there is the geographic tie to Tampa. Of the games not being shown those wouldn’t have been what I would have guessed.

David Diehl is color analyst. Wonder if he still has hate for the bucs kneeldown fiasco..
