Bucs WR Mike Evans hears the jeers from outraged Bucs fans..

It wasn’t quite as bad as the season opener when the near-sellout crowd at the Den of Depression rose as one and nearly booed the Bucs off the field at halftime.

The boos were so loud, the dancers at the clothing-optional establishments down the street ran off the stage in fear.

Apparently, fans were unhinged behind the Bucs bench today in the ugly loss to the Stinking Panthers and players such as wide receiver Mike Evans heard the taunts.

“It is horrible having your fans boo you,” Evans said. “Asking for people to get fired and stuff like that. But, it is what it is. We will bounce back, for our fans as well.”

When Evans was asked how well he could hear the hollering from the fans, Evans responded, “Very clear.”

    Speaking for Pablo

“Evans doesn’t need to understand Spanish to hear Pablo’s boos……boos are a universal language…..no free table dances from Pablo today….but if you wear your Jeff Garcia jersey….Pablo will be nice to you”

  2. NJBucsFan Says:

Umm Someone may want to tell Mike his coach deserves to be fired. We won’t have to ask much longer when he puts this crap on the field and makes the “talent” choices he’s making.

  3. Howard Cosell Says:

The Glazers heard the boo’s and they think we’re a bunch of entitled a-holes and that we should be patient. This team will be good by 2018.

  4. bucrightoff Says:

Not that Evans was a bad pick, but ODB would have been much better obviously.

  5. Uranus Johnson Says:

Too bad Teddy Bridgewater didn’t go to FSU

  7. Ray Rice Says:

I warned Alstott last week. Told him don’t do it. Told him these garbage MF’s would ruin his day just the same way they have done for the rest of the Ring Of Honor players. They should be hearing more than boos.

  8. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

    3-17

  9. The original "Kevin" Says:

Lets see….jenning starting over verner….evans not included in the game plan….running up the middle on first and second down until we are down by 21 points. Joes lord and savior throwing 4 picks. Id rather work on my house for 48 hours a weekend than watch this garbage. The galziers should be shunned from the league. Fans should not have to tolerate this type of management. Jason needs to fire lovie rught now!!!

  10. MadMax Says:

    Told yall already….we suck!

Were you really expecting a win today? LMAO!

Get with the program! We suck and might win 3 games total.

    BOSA! BOSA! BOSA!

  11. Joe Says:

The Glazers heard the boo’s and they think we’re a bunch of entitled a-holes and that we should be patient

Bryan Glazer said at beginning of training camp he is looking for “growth.”

Pretty sure he is not seeing the growth he talked about.

  12. Buc1987 Says:

Oh dayum so Lovie was really hearing it today then huh?

Oh boy and I have to go to next weeks game? Why do I have a funny feeling there’s going to be Fire Lovie signs brought to RJS next week? I went through that during Schiano’s years when they went to 0-8 that building was hostile. You could feel the anger in the air during that game. I have bad feeling about next week’s game being like that Schiano game. I actually felt bad for the poor guy after that game.

Look OUT Lovie they’re coming for you next week. The fans have their pitchforks sharpened.

THERE IS A TIME TO PLAY IT SAFE AND A TIME TO GO ***** TO THE WALL. A PRO KNOWS WHEN EACH TIME IS PRESENT. LOVIE CAN PLAY IT SAFE AS MUCH AS HE WANTS BUT HE NEVER WILL GET ANYWHERE. HE PLAYED IT SAFE LAST YEAR WITH McCOWN, HE PLAYED IT SAFE IN THE DRAFT. HE PLAYED IT SAFE ON THE ROSTER, AND HIS RECORD REFLECTS THAT FACT.

SORRY CHARLIE, ONLY THE BEST TUNA GETS TO BE STAR KIST.

  14. Buc1987 Says:

Brindza needs to wake up tomorrow morning and go fill out a job app at Publix as a bagboy.

  15. Ray Rice Says:

    @JOE

Oh that MF is seeing growth. Believe me. Growth of the long list of fans tired of the bull$hit!

  16. Buc1987 Says:

lol Max…let’s go back to that “growth” word. No I did not expect them to beat Carolina today. I actually predicted a blowout, but we fans have to see growth, something. I saw a few good things today, but this team is so far away from being just average. New coach or no new coach.

  17. This Guy Right Here Says:

If we lose to Jax (which seems very likely), and the Glazers DONT Fire Lovie???? Then the Glazers can go jerk each other off and move this team to London!

Their dad gave us a SB, so Im good… Im set… Either get this sad sack POS HC outta tampa?? Or take this POS team outta Tampa, give em to London!

Ive wasted a YEARS WORTH of Sundays! Waiting for this team to “Turn The
    Corner…

Lovie needs to be gone by the bye, Give this team a chance to SAVE THE SEASON!! If he’s still here??? Im gonna work on my golf game on Sundays!

  18. This Guy Right Here Says:

Save the Season! Fire Lovie Right Fckin NOW!!!

  19. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I think the Glazers should tell Lovie that he will be fired if he doesn’t beat Jacksonville. Normally, I don’t like that style of management but this calls for desperate measures…..
Lovie loses…..fire him and make Koetter interim HC with Frazier DC……still have continuity with the team but Lovie is gone.

I have now officially lost any crumb of confidence I had for him.

  20. MadMax Says:

@87, Winston’s turnovers were just awful! Granted, Im trying to pull for him but damn!

  21. SchlomieBarMitzvahCircumScissorStein Says:

It’s okay! It’s okay! They had a good week of practice and based on Lovie, and the scum on local radio, they are getting better! LOL!

  22. Brian Says:

Mike Evans doesn’t like the fans booing? No home wins since 2013 will do it. Don’t forget that fans pay good money to see this sub-professional team. Players and coaches get paid exorbitant amounts of money win or loose.

  23. bucrightoff Says:

If Lovie does get fired if they lose next week, Frazier would be better as interim HC. Koetter needs to be focused on Jameis and the offense, not running the whole show. Leslie has experience even if he isn’t great.

  24. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @bucrightoff

You could be right…but I’d like to see Koetter get a shot instead of a has-been….

  25. Tampa Tony Says:

Don’t worry Mike the owners don’t Fire coaches in season.

  26. Educated Bucs Fan Says:

I wish the Bucs could be relegated down to second division so I don’t have to put up with this crap. Oh wait the other Glazer team has to live with that threat. Oh well. TV revenue comes in the same regardless. What a bunch of clowns.

  27. crazy Says:

They don’t hate losing as much as the fans do. The benchings are putting lesser players on the field the question is will those benched get with the program.

  28. The original "Kevin" Says:

Howard cosell…how can the glaziers possibly hear the boos when they dobt even attend the games??? <They arent even in TAMPA!!!

THIS TEAM IS SCREWED. FANS ARE FED UP. THEYS SUCK. IT STARTS FROM THE TOP AND ITS A JOKE. IM SAD TO BE A BUCS FAN IY SUCKS. I CANT TAKE IT ANY LONGER. THIS TEAM….THESE COACHES….THESE PLAYERS…..THESE RESULTS ARE NOT WORTH MY TIME.

  29. sho-nuff Says:

Yo Evans we aint getting paid to SUCK….own your incompetence knowing that your team deserves NO RESPECT

  30. sho-nuff Says:

We will NEVERT win with this gutless ownership…NEVER…up next. they will start playing games elsewhere for revenue…and after that a new stadium…unless smart St Petersburg Tampa will get scared into paying them again…LOL….
This is why people don’t go to the Rays games…same deal…Greedy owners that could care less about being GOOD and more about $$$$…When they erased the team to cover Manu’s debt it should have told you suckers EVERYTHING you need to know about where the fans, this city and that team stands…go hide boys it’s what cowards do best

  31. vegabuc Says:

Hey Joe, I’m waiting for the article where you actually put some blame on your favorite human being on earth, Mr America’s Quarterback. He sure looks like he’s getting better.

  32. Buccfan37 Says:

If the Bucs lose to the Jags at home that will cement them as the worst one win team in the league. Nobody else even comes close even if NO wins, and Detroit as the only winless team.

  33. Tampa Tony Says:

If the players don’t want anyone to get fired how about you play better? It’s easy

  34. bucsbedabest Says:

Jason Licht is as much the problem as Lovie If you can not judge talent then you should not be the GM. People on this site look at Lovie as if he is the Michael Vick of coaches. Do an analyst Licht’s two drafts and FA signings. It is a laundry list of failed or soon to be failed talent evaluations.

    2014 NFL draft –
    1) WR Mike Evans -Appeared to be a lock last year os the Bucs Megatron of the future. Ubtil the sophamore jinch hit. Megatron does not drop balls.
    2) TE Austin Sepherian-Jenkins -Injuries in college, injuries in his rookie season = injury prone. Overrated, to many penalties, to many drops,to many injuries.
    3) RB Charles Sims – Could be the worse “need” pick in Buccaneer history. Has shown improvement. Could have drafted him in 5th round. Gabe Jackson.
    4) Kadeem Edwards, Kevin Pamphile and Robert Herron. Current bench warmers who may not even be serviceable back-ups.
    2015 NFL Draft
    1) QB Jameis Winston – The number one pick and the most important pick in franchise history. Fans thought the 2 INT, his first NFL play (which was a pick six) and his “deer in the headlights” first game was an anaomally. At least until his 4 INT “i will learn from my mistakes” fourth game.” JaMarcus Mariota Winston
    2) LT Donovan Smith and G Ali Marpet. S

  35. Relax losers Says:

You guys are psychos. It is football. It’s not that serious. It is laughable to see grown men typing these ridiculous things.

It was a rookie’s 4th game. Jameis will be just fine.

  36. Bucco Bruce1 Says:

I am done sacrificing family time, money and sanity on Sundays! Leeman Bennet’s team were better.
