Jameis Winston Held Covert Practice Session With Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Russell Shepard

July 28th, 2015

Seferian Jenkins StockerAmerica’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, didn’t just work out during his vacation with Mike Evans and Louis Murphy in Tallahassee.

Joe fished for more details today, and Jameis made Bucs fans proud.

After spending the morning and early afternoon at a bowling event with Tampa firefighters (and from Joe’s eyes, Jameis chatted with nearly all of them), Jameis took questions from Joe and other media.

Joe asked Jameis whether he had any other practice sessions with teammates during his vacation.

Jameis said he and Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Russell Shepard “played a little catch” a couple of days ago. But Jameis wasn’t joking. His tone turned intense.

“This training thing is serious. So we’re trying to get better and trying to get together as a team — that gelling feeling. The feeling that we have in the locker room, the true brotherhood. Anyway that we can get that feeling,” Jameis said.

Rookies reported for training camp on Monday. Veterans arrive Friday.

(Keep it locked on JoeBucsFan.com. Bucs general manager Jason Licht opens up tonight during a Town Hall meeting on WDAE-AM 620 at 5 p.m.)

So Joe since the rookies reported yesterday. What do they do all week? Sit around and wait for the vets?

  2. Buc1987 Says:

LOL Joe I knew that guy was going bye bye in short order…

  3. Joe Says:

And that guy was WS99 (and his other names).

  4. Pickgrin Says:

Natural born leader with QB talent like none other – talking about and acting upon fostering the “true brotherhood” in the locker room.

It won’t be long before EVERYONE is a believer. I would not be at all surprised to see Jameis be voted a Captain of the offense in his rookie year. I don’t expect it because he IS a rookie – but it would not surprise me.

  5. Danr Says:

    awww man… i missed it.

  6. SurfDog Says:

    Damn! I missed it too!

  8. Pickgrin Says:

DB got the boot? Man I missed it. Now I’m curious what he said… LOL

Last post I see from him was last night with no controversy.

  9. Tiny Tim Says:

Where is bonzaibucc? I wonder if he is reading this article since he was spewing nonsense about Jameis not getting together with his receivers to practice and not being a true franchise qb to the community. Take your medicine sir!!! And Joe, please let us know if he changes his screen name.

  10. Tom Edrington Says:

Hopefully their workouts were light enough so that ASJ didn’t injure himself!

  11. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

    Dang, I missed it.

  12. Buccfan37 Says:

I missed it too, where is it? I liked his posts. I see Brady had his 4 game suspension upheld, hahaha!

  13. bucsbedabest Says:

Jameis Winston and our Pro Bowl TE Seferian-Jenkins. I can not wait. All of those non-believers betta starta believen. It is what makes a team go from 2-14 to winning the division. Brothers who believe in each other will win together.

  14. Howard Cosell Says:

    Number 2!!
    Number 2!!
    Number 2!!
    Number 2!!
    (Inquiring minds want to know)

  15. WS99 Says:

    Joe

You’re booting me for real. I didn’t post anything today. Seriously. I how can I prove it. The last time I post was last night. The Twitter post from Galettes gf.

  16. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

    @WS

Are you at work? Maybe someone else posts to JBF, and it shows as the same IP? I’m guessing it works that way.

  17. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @WS99

Obviously, you are not booted…..you’re here!!!

  18. Buc1987 Says:

LWD…or in an apartment complex maybe if he has an open router or something or other.

    Joe Says
“And that guy was WS99 (and his other names).”

I’m real curious what the other names are. I don’t suppose one has “real” in it? hehe

He SHOULD be bringing the whole offense together, like every other starting quarterback in the league.

    And I’m still right.

And just WHAT has he done in the community? Nothing yet.

    And it’s “BuccaneerBonzai”.

Wasn’t nonsense. You just don’t like hearing it.

  21. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    @Buc1987

If he uses Brighthouse, they no longer allow unprotected wifi. They insist on passwords because people can go to jail if their IP is used for the wrong things. False accusations mean lawsuits.

  22. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

Is it possible someone used his username but linked it to a different email address? Maybe Joe saw the regular username when he banned it? (if he still has)

  23. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Pretty smart of potential bubble players like Shepard to practice with Jameis……although I think Shepard will make it.

  24. Idontwannahearitanymore Says:

I missed it? What? Who? Why? Where? When? How?

    In this article alone:

“After spending the morning and early afternoon at a bowling event with Tampa firefighters (and from Joe’s eyes, Jameis chatted with nearly all of them), Jameis took questions from Joe and other media.”

There are actual several more examples of this in the few short and busy months that he has been a Buc. But, I won’t bother listing them because I suspect nothing is enough for certain people.

  27. Buc1987 Says:

Nope the post wasn’t under WS -99.

Damn Joe you got a filter out on his name too?

  28. Buc1987 Says:

Love and Warrick Dunn…Jameis thanks you for always having his back…lol

    ———————————–

Well you were the one who said he was not doing any of the stuff required. We quickly dispelled that nonsense. Just admit you were wrong!!!

    BuccaneerBonzai Says:
    July 28th, 2015 at 4:37 pm

    And I’m still right.

    ———————–

Please explain why you feel you are still right when you were never right. You said he hadn’t had any offsite throwing sessions with his WRs and we gave you about three examples. Your definition of right is different from the rest of the world.

    ———————————-

Again we gave you about 3 examples of this as well. Did you forget how to read at the point you started reading the examples? Its things like that that makes you and your takes nonsense bonzaibucc

  30. Buc1987 Says:

Bonzai…this is ridiculous nit picking. You expect him to bring everyone on offense together on their own free time to do whatever they want.

We (I) gave you example after example the other day my good man.

  31. Hawk Says:

Hey, Joe, have I been ‘booted’? I posted at #16, just after WS99s first post and it said it was in moderation. Now it doesn’t show at all.

  32. BuccaneEric75 Says:

What did WS99 say??? I liked his posts!!!

  33. BuccaneEric75 Says:

I have to side with 87 on this one. He has gotten together with teammates multiple times. He is doing endorsements with Ford I believe. He met with kids in a hospital too. Or was it War Vets? And he is always doing something for the kid fans he meets. In the back of my mind I was always worried about him, but he has been as professional as could be expected.

  34. Buc1987 Says:

BuccaneEric75…according to Joe he logged in under a different S/N and insulted Joe pretty badly. I know what was said because like I always say, this is my home.

I of course will not repeat what he said.

Joe perhaps someone malicious in 99’s house wants him to stop blogging so much, so they intentionally did it to him. I don’t know. I’m grasping at straws.

  35. BuccaneEric75 Says:

87, those could be long straws. 99 has to know the Joe’s can see the EMail address.

  36. Buc1987 Says:

E-mail address doesn’t matter as much as the ISP address.

  37. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Oh, I thought the Joe’s just looked at the EMail. You could be right.

  38. StPeteBucsFan Says:

I’ve had my disagreements with WS99 but he always posts like a gentleman and can accept agreeing to disagree. I feel this way about Dallas, and Tmax and other posters with whom I’ve disagreed. If we all felt the same it would be a truly boring world.

It’s possible to disagree and still remain friends. That’s what sports are for…”friendly” debates with no hard feelings.

We ain’t curing cancer here guys so even if you’re right and the rest of us are wrong it’s not a big deal…or vice versa.

  39. I'm tired and 87 is right Says:

Hoop there it is! Haha you guys are to funny on here. Aghhh hurry up season and get here!! Go Bucs!.

  40. BuccaneEric75 Says:

I’m tired and 87 is right, what is your other name on here? I’m dying to know!! Lol

  41. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

I expect him to do what other QBs do or did. Freeman got the whole offensive unit together. Had his own Camp. McCown did the same.

    @Love and Warrick Dunn
That was an event put on by a retired Bucs player, not Jameis.

He was invited as a guest. I’m talking about doing things on his own, like starting a charity, going to schools to read to kids, anything like that.

He’ll have to do it sooner or later.
