We played the Rams on Thursday last year. That didn’t go very well for us, as I recall

  2. drdneast Says:

Wrong Patrick. It was a Sunday game and if the Bucs hadn’t had a blocked field goal and punt, they would have probably won the game which ended with Mike Evans getting knocked woozy on the final play and the refs running 10 seconds off clock before the Bucs could spike the ball.

Joe ..how about Doug Martin our 3rd pick, and next years 2nd for A.P.?

That is of course if the Vikings would take it…

  4. BuccaneEric Says:

I would do Martin and our Third and that’s it. Anything more and I think I’d pass. I like A.P. but I think when we have a playoff team again he won’t be the player he is now. He would take Pressure off of our Rookie QB though. 8 men in the box and more one on ones on the outside.

    BuccaneEric…that’s all I want.

  6. Clint Says:

I think the Rivers idea is a real brain dead one. Likely to soon be done or in decline

  7. Patrick in VA Says:

@drdneast- you’re right. I’m thinking about the Atlanta massacre happening on a Thursday. Either way, seeing us pop up on a Thursday night never leaves a good feeling. Not only because we play poorly but because i have to work and will have to record the game. I’m not sure who, besides west coasters, the mid week games work for

  8. bucs4lyfe Says:

with that contract AP has yea martin and a 3rd, i’d prefer that over any trade that involves giving up our 1st overall pick for just one player
