Nice pick! Speedy as hell, nice jukes, solid hands and EXTREME SEPARATION!!

I don’t get why everyone says this guy is so speedy. His combine numbers in the 40, 3 cone, and 20 yd shuttle are all middle of the pack at his position. 4.48 is probably a little below average for a receiver, especially one that’s 5-9 190lb. His numbers are VERY similar to the Abbrederis kid from Wisconsin and NO ONE is calling him speedy!

Stop being stuck in stats land. That’s not football speed, only one element. –Joe

    Why is he wearing shorts?

Probably because he is. Herron was a very good sprinter in track. He didn’t run a very good 40 time at the Combine, for him, he ended up running 4.38-4.41 at his Pro Day which was a little better. More importantly, he’s tough and shifty. exactly what you are looking for in a slot WR. The fact that he is fast only adds to it.

If you look at more Herron highlights, try focusing also on the guy throwing him the football. Brett Smith, the most overlooked prospect in the draft. This guy has the tools to be a good starter.

The Bucs new slot receiver has been found.

  13. Bucs fan in NC Says:

The last guy we drafted that was this size and was praised for his speed was Dexter Jackson (not the good one) and most of us remember how that went! Maybe that’s why I refuse to believe in these “speedy” guys until I hear the cannons fire!

I had an epileptic seizure watching this video… Like the pick tho!

Hey Bucs fan in NJ NEGATIVE MUCH !!!!! Did you see the video of Herron burning those DBs with speed and quickness ? The tape dont lie, he is pretty good and perfect for the slot receiver in the Bucs offense.

His acceleration off the line is amazing, and his moves are extremely smooth and fast. He’s gonna be very tough to handle one on one, throw in the rest of the receivers and that monster tight end they just picked up and see not one secondary in the nfl that can handle all this, wow! I’m very impressed with this team. FINALLY lol
