  3. Joe's Liver Says:

Sir, you don’t get to call Joe a liar. And do you realize how ridiculous that sounded when you yourself are visiting and quoting a story from yesterday. If you hate JoeBucsFan.com, then take your mouse elsewhere.–Joe

  4. Tampabaybucfan Says:

“Johnny Loss”……sorry Joe but you can’t really lose something you never had…didn’t want…didn’t think you needed…

  5. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Off subject but I hear we are trying out Kirby van der Kamp….rated best punter in draft….Good to see Koenen too expensive….

  6. ToesOnTheLine Says:

The most interesting nugget I gleaned from that was Joe upped the ante from 1 keg to 2…you’re a good man Joe even if your eyeball QB test isn’t infallible

  7. Brandon Says:

Cam Newton threw 59 MPH… Nolan Nawrocki listed the top 3 guys from the Combine this year…. in this order, Ryan Mallett, Colin Kaerpernick, and Cam Newton…. Glennon threw 49 last year…which I didn’t know was the worst for the last 5 years.. WOW!

  8. Eric Says:

    Cannon must have misfired.

  9. Chris Says:

Other people think Glennon has a”cannon” too. SMDH. My eyes tell me that Glennon often under threw Vincent Jackson.
    http://m.sportsbreak.com/nfl/10-strongest-quarterback-arm-in-the-nfl-today/2/
Glennon ranked #10 strongest arm in the NFL. I feel like Mogotu in Zoolander. “Am I the only one taking CRAZY PILLS HERE?”

  16. Buc1987 Says:

    “the top-rated”

Joe is that Arbitron ratings or you’re own personal view?

Does BD really hate Jon Gruden? If so I think you should post that every time you post the JBF show on the site.

It was a much anticipated JoeBucsFan Hour on the top-rated show of the guy that hated Jon Gruden the guy that brought you’re futile franchise it’s first SB victory.

    Google is your friend.

  18. Buc1987 Says:

Your’re not the only one taking crazy pills. Josh McCown, Jon Gruden, Mel Kiper Jr, Ron Jaworski, Greg Cosell, and Bucky Brooks have all said Glennon has a cannon or big time arm. That’s just naming a few people. I’m sure I can find some more if you like.

  21. Ed Kerber Says:

    Let me translate:
“Cannon for an arm”. We’d really like a second rounder next year for him.
“QB of the future” — Bills, Jags, Browns, and Chiefs may be talked out of a first rounder next year if we keep this up.
Not taking a QB this year–none of them could win now.

acting as if they are set at QB–two will be drafted next year.

  22. Buc1987 Says:

Ed…you believe what ever fantasy you want to believe, but when and if McCown goes down this year you better damn well root for Glennon because that’s all you’ve got.

You seem to STILL think it’s all fiction coming from the Bucs. That’s all fine and dandy buddy. Then it’s fine for me to believe that you’re living in fantasy land as well.

  23. Buc1987 Says:

Never going to happen with what Glennon put on tape.

  24. Buc1987 Says:

Ed….So basically they are setting themselves up to trade him next year. Where do you people come from anyways? I’m trying REAL hard to be polite. Since there are fans like Ed out there and they are entitled to their opinion, consider it official now.

MGM please accept my application. You won’t regret it.

  25. Buc1987 Says:

Okay Joe…now it’s taken hours and hours for me to click on this show. I finally did. I have to say that you guys are hands down much better than BD. You guys don’t need BD, maybe for now you do. You guys are better than BD.
Keep up the good work and you guys are going much further than this website. I may disagree with you a lot, but you’re much better than all this crap on the radio.

    You’ll see that I’m right.

  26. Buc1987 Says:

Case in point Joe. BD talks about the lack of talent coming from West Virginia. Yet never considers all the players that went to small irrelevant colleges that had great NFL careers. Jerry Rice. Okay that’s it for me and my 6 posts. Just wanted to give you guys a quick example.

  27. ander Says:

they should call this the antiglennon segment

  28. Buc1987 Says:

Okay I knew it would not end there. So I just have yet another question for you Joes. Have you ever tried to approach other radio stations about your segments on 620 with BD and tried to get your OWN show without him? Turn in some segments or something to other radio stations or are you happy with the way things are now anyways?

Damn it I know your not going to answer yes or no, but I thought I’d give it a whirl.

Joe’s happy with the current arrangement. Joe is a busy guy and this is a great fit for the most listeners. –Joe

  29. Joe Says:

    1987:

    Happy.

  30. Chef Paul Says:

“You guys don’t need BD, maybe for now you do. You guys are better than BD.”

I agree with this statement 100%. An otherwise fantastic show was ruined by that guy.

    Buzz Kill

  31. ToesOnTheLine Says:

Welcome to the MGM Buc1987, the irony in all of this it’s the constant derogatory ‘compliments’ and flat out refusal/denial of the hate squad that has driven many of us to want to root for the guy. I can respect the posters who may not be sold on the kid or have their doubts and say “show me”, but some people want to portray this kid as noodle armed garbage regardless of how many professional coaches, analysts, and former QB’s say the guy has a high ceiling and a lot of potential.

  32. passthebuc Says:

I have never heard so many accolades for mediocrity in my life. you guys need to move on, or start a fan club. after watching his film, i will say that his floating passes will be hawked for picks in the NFL. Do I think Glennon is the answer, do not know and could care less. We are in a rebuilding process and you cannot draft out of your game plan.

    Give it a rest.

  33. Bucbob Says:

What could L&L have possibly seen in MG in mini camp, that they haven’t seen on tape before. For months L&L have left us to speculate on MG’s future here. If MG is going to be the quarterback of the future, why not just say so from the beginning? Don’t get me wrong, I happen to like MG and wish him the best, but this whole thing on him, from L&L, is nothing more than a way to convince the fanbase, that they didnt make a mistake for not drafting a quarterback, and to keep his stock up, for a possible future trade.

  34. Hawk Says:

    passthebuc Says:

” after watching his film, i will say that his floating passes will be hawked for picks in the NFL.”

Before you repeat this in front of someone knowledgeable, look up his TD/INT ratio from his ‘rookie’ season, with little supporting cast, and no mentor or coaching.
Be a Buc fan. I was a ‘Freemanite’ right up until he was replaced. I trust the coaching staff to field the best players. Those are the guys I root for. I like Glennon and believe he has a very bright future, but right now, I’m rooting for McCown (I have a feeling that before the seasons’ end, I’ll be rooting for Glennon).

  35. Hawk Says:

    @ Bucbob

We don’t know, for sure, whether they liked/disliked what they saw on tape, but for the sake of argument, let’s assume they were ‘concerned’. After seeing Glennon, in camp, they may have determined that the offensive ‘issues’ were not caused by Glennon. Remember, Lovie/Licht would have the benefit of ‘game film’. That means they would have, at least four camera angles, and the play that was called.
Not calling him “The QB of the Future”, was a game that is played by every HC/GM in the league. Lovie/Licht had their eye on certain players, in the draft, and didn’t want to give away that information.
NOT drafting a QB, in this draft, was NOT a mistake. It was a calculated, intentional choice. There were a BUNCH of QBs still available at #7. I doubt seriously if they view any of their picks as a ‘mistake’.
And who knows, Lovie/Licht may decide there’s a better option in next years’ crop of QBs, and trade Glennon at the end of the season (but don’t hold your breath).

  36. tj Says:

wow so much talk about qbs, its been said alot, brad johnson, was he lights out when he started, nup, i should look up his rookie stats, t brady wasnt great his first yr, joe flaco suckd his first couple yrs. way to much talk and emotion about this

  37. Joe Says:

wow so much talk about qbs, its been said alot, brad johnson, was he lights out when he started, nup,

Actually, the year Brad Johnson led the Bucs to the team’s lone Super Bowl title, he was a Pro Bowl quarterback.

    Yup, look it up.
