Impotence Score = 83

December 30th, 2013

The tally is in. Joe’s highly paid research team has concluded its analysis.

The Bucs offense was dreadful in the second half of games. Their final score was 83 points. That’s 83 points over 16 games. That’s 5.2 points per second half.

Jimminy Christmas! Scoring 10 points per game in the second half would be bad, and that’s double what the Bucs produced.

If Joe were ordered by Team Glazer to fire Greg Schiano and told to give Schiano only one reason for his demise, then Joe would point to the second-half collapses. That’s just bad football. There’s no way to spin it.

And realistic those numbers are probably skewed cuz I’m sure we’ve scored atleast 10 n the second half n 1 or 2 games and I’ve seen farrrrrrrr to many games like yesterday where we put up the dreaded field goal for 2nd half ppints. Now again the only thing that makes this so much more ironic is that just like week 16 I bet my brother an additional double or nothing bet on week 17 that we’d only score 3 points n the second half…..now I’m either a Gm genius an I need a job or we stank to high hell….P.U.

    I am at a loss….obviously coaching…but there is a lot more than that…..

Maybe we need to go with 2 QBs….one for the first half and a scrambling/running QB for the 2nd half…

I noticed yesterday that most of Rainey’s yardage came after he bounced off of an offensive lineman and went outside. We created absolutely no running lanes.

Also….everytime Glennon rolls out there are no recievers open…not even RBs or anyone to dump off to….There is no question our recievers don’t get open like other teams. We desparately need some speed on this team.

Schiano wanted a scrimmage against the team from the Tampa Lighthouse For The Blind. The Bucs got the ball first and on the 5th play they scored

The lack of scoring in the second half should be one of the main reasons for the coaching staff to get the axe. It’s up to the head coach to make adjustments when needed. The lack of scoring persisted throughout the entire season, not just a stretch of games, the entire season. Yet, nothing was done. Take Baltimore for example. They felt a change was needed at offensive coordinator and they made a change mid-season last year. They went on to win the Super Bowl. The results of making drastic moves like this in the middle of the season rarely end up as good as it did for Baltimore, but doing nothing is ridiculous.

Go Glennon! Lmao ! Until I read this I wasn’t sure we even scored ThAT many points in the second half all season! And I watched every game too. Time wasted I will never get back.

Btw that was an AVERAGE of second half scores. You understand average right?
