WOW! Joe I like your site and you do a great job of updating and giving us the latest news but your opinions are unbelievable. You cant see why the Bucs wouldn’t look at a QB in the first 10 picks? Seriously? I’m not saying Glennon is a hall of famer but to draft a QB and hope to bench him for a year? We don’t have other needs? Defensive end, defensive tackle, guard. receiver, corner, how about a back up to replace Donald Penn? No your right lets go with the under sized alcoholic punk at A&M. Get a veteran free agent to back up Glennon and for once lets develop someone.

Thank God your not a GM but keep up the good work here.

To me, if you are calling for the Bucs to draft Johnny Football. Then you are calling for Schiano and Sullivan to be fired which means you have to let the pop-star go. There are specific attributes and physical features that this offense runs. While Johnny football is a good QB. He does not fit with the current offense.

    Joe Happy Thanksgiving

enjoy this sit your doing a great job. when your on air with the BD its

pathetic, to much agreeing with him, your better than that

    BD is a joke

  4. Wombat Says:

Have to agree with all previous comments. In this league you can’t rightly develop two QB’s, there will always be friction. We have WAY too many needs at other positions to waste a high pick on a QB. Glennon has way more upside than downside. Schiano has already said he is worried about his size, meaning weight. He has already stated that their offseason focus is on beefing him up. I can see him adding 10-15lbs in the offseason to his frame making him more robust.

  5. Touchdown Gus Says:

@buctherealist yes.joe you can’t have that both ways. No way does Jonny fit this scheme.

  6. Touchdown Gus Says:

I’m not worried about Glennons size. Look at Tom Brady when he first entered the league. The man was a tooth pick.

  7. Chris Says:

Glennon has shown he can be the guy. Why not build around him ?

  8. Couch Fan Says:

Glennon is setting rookie records all over the place. Drafting another QB, would not be such a dumb idea IF the team was already loaded. But its not. We have needs across the board. Asking another rookie to come in and do a better job that what Glennon has done, with the same lack of weapons, is insane.

A 2nd round QB or lower would be smarter and more logical. That 1st pick must be used on an instant impact player which will not be a QB.
