Doug Martin Is The “Muscle Hamster”

Williams said like it or not, Martin is the “Muscle Hamster.”

Damn right. Just like I said yesterday, Martin and his teammates choose the nickname. Not the fans. Muscle Hamster he is, at least until he and his teammates decide otherwise. No fan polls will be forthcoming. Thankfully.

Martin and his teammates choose the nickname? if that was the case his nickname wouldnt be Muscle Hamster because Doug HATES it.. so actually you’re wrong on that one buddy. His teammates and the media choose the nickname, not Martin and his teammates. I’ll just continue calling him D-rex because thats my nickname for him, just like BigRob likes Dougernaut ( that is also a pretty cool nickname )

You maybe right in your own world but Doug ‘Aston’ Martin has taken a contest to Bucs Facebook and Twitter asking fans to suggest and vote on a new nickname for him. BTW he says he hates that Muscle Cricetinae nickname, period!

BTW…I’m really just in a ball-busting mood today and enjoying riling some of you up. I honestly don’t care one way or the other what he’s called, as long as he keeps running the ball the way he’s been doing. You can call him freaking Nicki Minaj for all I care.

BTW, I voted D-Train on that TBO poll. I couldn’t bring myself to choose Duggernaut because of whoever it is that kept shouting that name after almost every single JBF post the past couple days.

Duggernaut sounds like some geek’s nickname. Maybe a guy who plays World of Warcraft all day. Not a football player. Can you see his teammates actually using the name Duggernaut? I can’t.

I hope we get to call “NFL rushing champion” in a couple months. He may take the lead this week, with a good outing. My kid posted Dougernaut on that Facebook contest. Mine was Martinator.
I like D Rex too. You guys have been saying that a while. Shorter is better and that’s why I like that. Some others posted DMX for Doug Martin Express.
I’m just glad he’s on our team and not the Giants.

D-Rex… reminds me of Rex Ryan or even a T-Rex, in which he has nothing in common with a dinosaur.
