Yesterday, Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman appeared on the “Jim Rome Is Burning” show on BSPN. Below is the video of Freeman’s appearance.

    Just watching this kid talk, and to think he is the same age as me (as a college senior) is unreal. I am going to buy his jersey today, as I have faced the reality that he has slowly become my favorite offensive player in the league (tied with Talib for favorite overall).

    Freeman, Blount, Williams, Talib, and McCoy are young guys that make me too excited to be a Bucs fan. And what get’s me is all the doubt and hate for Raheem last year. Call me young and naive, but I kept saying be patient.

    And the Glazer’s might be cheap-scapes but they are getting the highest return on invest in the NFL. What’s wrong with being cheap if you are making all the right decisions? I guess we will see how cheap they are when it comes time to pay Davin and crew.

    Mike Williams was being interviewed on First Take yesterday. I wouldn’t mind picking up the shirt he was wearing.

    One word: poise.

    People used to throw that word around young players. But Josh shows a great combination of humility, youth, motivation and confidence.

    Well I think the “Bucs don’t get run from the national media complaint can officialy be put to rest forever.” When you make it on Jim Rome it means everyone in the nation is taking notice. Its pretty clear that Josh Freeman is rapidly joining the ranks of media darling QB’s.
