Watch And Listen To Derrick Brooks

August 12th, 2010

Stuck at your computer while arguably the great Bucs player of all time talks to the fourth estate at 1:30 p.m. about his retirement?

Joe is here to help.

If one wants to watch the video of Brooks’ address, this link will bring you to Buccaneers.com. which is streaming the video live.

For those with nasty IT Nazis monitoring your every keystroke who cannot watch video at work, Joe’s good friends at WDAE-AM 620 will steam the audio of the Brooks press conference live via their website.

Joe always looks out for his readers. You are welcome.

As an added bonus, Brooks will be a special guest of the dean of Tampa Bay sports media, “The Big Dog,” Steve Duemig, at 5 p.m. on WDAE-AM 620.

Not sure what that acronym is, but are you referring to Out House Networks, the syndicate that denies law-abiding football fans the NFL Network?

    The gall!

Joe, off the subject, do you know if Chin gave Rah any advice or pointers?

    Blackmagic00:

Don’t know but wouldn’t be surprised. Cowher, along with Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan, each had full access to the entire One Buc Palace facility including meetings, huddles on the practice field, you name it.

    Bwhahahahaha…

The Glazer brats are worse than Raheem at the mike.

Nothing like a bunch of spoiled brats, paying their way through school with daddy’s money, failing miserably at public speaking, trying to read off their notes, stuttering worse than Raheem, giving Brooks a heartfelt send off.

    Brooks is the MAN.

The Glazer brats, are spoiled boys running a franchise into the ground.

Thanks for the memories all 🙂

  6. Mark Says:

    Arguably the best Buc ever?

  7. Blackmagic00 Says:

One of the best BUCS ever. Don’t forget the A-Train.

  8. Mark Says:

Alstott was a great and popular player, but had nowhere near the total effect Brooks had. I don’t even think this question is open for debate. The Bucs were never the Bucs without Brooks.

    IMO:

    1. Brooks

    2. Sapp

    3. Selmon

  10. Blackmagic00 Says:

Ya I see your point. I just feel if Alstott wasn’t injured he would be just as important. He was on his way and got cut short. But your right. Coulda and did, two different things.

  11. Javier n Wimauma Says:

DB 55 is the greatest Buccaneer ever, better than Williams and Lee Roy Selmon.

    There should be no debate.

Do I really have to bust out the stats to prove this? Come on people.

    Ya I see your point.

  13. Blackmagic00 Says:

Brooks was the qb on the D.

  14. Blackmagic00 Says:

PLEASE NO STATS! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Anything but stats.

  15. oar Says:

Stats? We don’t need no stinking stats! LOL!

  16. Patrick Says:

Brooks is the best. I like Doug Williams but overall he really wasn’t that great of a player in his career. Good not great
