Bucs Have “Great Interest,” Says Suh

April 19th, 2010

Nebraska defensive tackle, manbeast Ndamukong Suh, doesn’t have a clue what NFL team he will beat up offensive linemen and terrorize quarterbacks for next year.

One thing is certain: the Bucs want him.

That’s the news learned from Suh during his appearance this morning on Sirius NFL Radio’s “The Opening Drive,” co-hosted by Bob Papa and “The Godfather,” Gil Brandt.

Papa asked Suh if he had any idea who would draft him. Suh confessed he did not, but he did say the Bucs want him, without naming the Bucs.

“The top three teams, they have shown great interest,” Suh said.

The Bucs have the third overall pick Thursday night.

“You never know,” Suh continued. “I don’t have a gut feeling. I wish I did. I wish I had a dream or something. The Rams told me they are keeping all of their options open.”

Joe, you really need to stop with the misleading titles. This one, for instance, makes you think the article will actually talk about how the bucs have great interest. Instead, the article is just talking about how the top three teams want him. Duh, of course, its reasonable to say that he won’t get past the third if he even makes it that far. Slow days in the news huh Joe?

Hey Jared if you don’t like what Joe writes ask for your money back. Oh wait this feature is free. So let’s please stick to bashing the Glazers and the (lack of)
leadership on this team. They truly deserve your wrath and all the dung we can pile on them!

  3. zech Says:

If the bucs really want him then they should trade up with the lions but if the lions say we r taking okung then we r better off stay pat where we r and drafting suh. I just hope if mccoy or suh is available that they choose suh because freemen did say hed rather play with suh then against him!

    Jared:

Exactly how is that misleading? Joe used a direct quote from Suh in the headline. Those words came right out of his mouth. The Bucs have the third pick in the draft. Suh said all three teams have “great interest” in him. How is that misleading?

What, Joe should have lied and used a headline, “Bucs have no interest in Suh?”

    C’mon now.

Thanks for watching Joe’s back Phil.

I’m just busting ya joe 😛 i love the website and appreciate everything you post. I guess the lack of moves is making me agitated. Everytime i see the bucs in a title, i’m hoping its something big. but lately, it never happens. Keep up the good work though!

    LOL You got Joe!’

Yeah, Joe understands. Would be cool to land a top receiver for a fifth round pick, huh? 🙂

Thanks for the compliments Jared. Joe appreciates them!

Smoke screen – they really want McCoy.

Zech, if Rah thinks Suh is the messiah this defense needs, Suh is a Buc IMO. No GM/HC will pass up on a player that can make their careers.

McCoy is going to be there at 3 regardless , so why would they need to smokescreen??

So… how is it that this really is a ‘can’t screw this one up’ draft? Seriously, the Bucs already went 3-13 almost lost them all, were last in the league in run defense, have lost all the confidence in fan support, and have already imploded the coaching staff that won them a Super Bowl over 12 months ago.

It looks as if the Bucs have ALREADY missed by not canning Raheem and hiring Cowher. Now they are letting Raheem and Dominic run the draft… or worse, the Glazers are calling the shots themselves.

    We have already missed people.

I could have sworn that the name in this site contains BucFan!? Where the hell do all these sky-is-falling wagon riders keep coming from? Out of all the information and activities that are out there, some of you can find absolutely nothing but negative crap to post. No true fan finds only the “crap” of their favorite team to discuss. Occasionally, no matter how bad it may be, there will always be something you boast about your team for.

You will probably be the same one, two years from now when their winning, claiming how you knew all along that this regime was brilliant.

  13. gruss222 Says:

Don’t get me wrong. Everyone should feel free to voice their displeasures as they occur. This is a great forum for such expression. My point is that some have NOTHING else to say except negative rants!

“two years from now when their winning”

Will that be the beginning of the dynasty?

  15. JimBuc Says:

    Maybe Eric, maybe.

gruss222, even if we’re winning they’ll still find something to bitch about. Some people just aren’t happy unless they’re mad, if that makes any sense. Doomsday fans drive me nuts too.
