Everybody Is Piling On

September 15th, 2009
Joe cant fault the secondarys woes on the play of Ronde Barber Sunday.

Joe can't fault the secondary's woes on the play of Ronde Barber Sunday.

Joe knows it’s almost too easy to point out the fact that Joe has old charcoal in his grill that wasn’t burned as bad as Sabby Piscitelli was Sunday.

But when Vacation Man of BSPN.com starts to pile on, maybe it’s time for Joe to turn the page?

Vacation Man had probably a more biting comment about the Bucs secondary than Harry King did. To wit:

Who’s the last person to be stopped by a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ secondary?

Oh, got it.

It was that cab driver who pulled over to call police back in August and allege cornerback Aqib Talib had punched him from the backseat.

Dude, that’s COLD! And not exactly accurate either.

Joe thought Ronde Barber shut up any critics who claimed he couldn’t play in Jim Bates’ defense. Barber played like the Barber of old. Joe didn’t think Talib played that terribly, either.

Joe might start having to look ahead to the Buffalo game if even Vacation Man has brought out his blowtorch.
