Thank God for Byron Leftwich.

And thank God for Josh Freeman.

Yes, you read that correctly. Joe is actually thanking God for Freeman. That’s because if the Bucs had not signed Leftwich and drafted Freeman, Michael Vick would be in a Bucs uniform.

That’s the premise Peter King floated Monday morning. Co-hosting “The Opening Drive” on Sirius NFL Radio with Randy Cross, a caller brought up the subject of who would sign noted dogfighter Michael Vick. King actually thought the Bucs were a candidate.

“Tampa Bay, before they signed 16 quarterbacks, would have been a possibility.”

Good grief! Joe almost didn’t need his second cup of coffee when he heard that. It scared Joe so much it actually woke Joe up.

Of course, the video of forgotten Cowgirl Fabiola helped.

Hey Joe, Mr. Lucky likes your photoshopping abilities. Mr. Lucky just wishes Gaines Adams would be like that pit bull on opposing QB’s this year!

Peter King is full of sh*t agreed. But I would take Vick as a third string QB anyday. The Buc’s employ Jeremy Stevens the alleged rapist. Sorry I don’t put Vick in with rapists. Dog fighting and rape are too different categories. The latter doesn’t need to be breathing good air.
Yet know one is protesting Stevens playing in the NFL. But I am sure every nut job PETA member will be out waiting for Vick upon his release. Because they have absolutely nothing better to do with their time.
